I worked as an officer in immigration detention centres in australia 2010-2015, a lot can be learned from our tactics. Australia is weakened as most western countries have become, but one thing the country again and again has refused to tolerate is illegal immigrants. We refused to let them into the sovereign country and housed them on christmas island and Nauru and other islands and sent them home and refused to ever allow them into australia....several elections have been won and lost on illegal immigration. And to this day it is a topic that will loose a government the election if they allow illegal immigration.
