natasha I’ve watched you for a very long time, and i just have to say again, that if i had to pick only 1 thing about you that is the most different from any other creators channel, and what i appreciate most, is that you are not afraid to say that you don’t have the finances for all these new things constantly flooding the market. i’m glad they are, new things are wonderful, but when a stamp set with dies now costs $65 that is outrageous to me and very far out of reach for many of us that are on a difficult budget, being 1 family income, or disability for me, or retired, there’s a lot of us that just can’t keep up! so i want to thank you for being dignified enough to speak up and address this fact and then have an answer around so many things. your creativity is astonishing and you do it with likely 1/3 of what most others have. you’re incredible! thank you!

I think another thing you can do is to glue kitchen aluminum foil to card stock and then emboss it. I’m not sure but you might be able to color it with alcohol ink to have a variation on the silver
@lucycАй бұрын
Yes! I think I saw that, with alcohol ink, in another video quite a while ago and forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.🙂

I got some of Simon Hurley’s pastes and didn’t open them yet as I wasn’t sure how to use them. Now I know. Being a frugal crafter, I was saying “you’re putting a lot of paste that’s going to waste on the white sheet” 😅. My fav is that blue on black which I didn’t expect at all! Txs for this great demo.

First, I want to say that I absolutely love all of your cards and techniques. Because of family caregiving, and my own health at 72, I haven’t been able to use all the beautiful things I have acquired to make many of the beautiful cards but I plan to, thanks to your inspiration. These glossy cards are stunning. The only thing that I never like personally, are the ready-made.ready sentiments. They look like a label maker type thing and cheapen a work of art. I hope that opinion doesn’t detract from how much I love and look forward to your creations 🥰

Wow Natasha! I never would’ve thought to create my own shiny/pearly cardstock using pastes like that. I loved the blue solar paste on black. But boy, were those cards lovely and especially liked what you did with the second card, using the matching die to cut the embossed flower out. Really amazing, and especially amazing that you can create like that in the middle of the night! 😊🩷
