THERE'S A WINNER IN YOU LIVE by Katrina Velarde
Katrina Copino Velarde (born December 5, 1994) is a Filipino singer. She became part of the group New Born Divas that competed in the second season of Talentadong Pinoy. In 2012, she joined the first season of The X Factor Philippines and became part of the girl group A.K.A. J.A.M. under Gary Valenciano's team. She also finished as runner-up on TV5's Masked Singer Pilipinas as Diwata.
Katrina has often been referred to as "Asia's Vocal Supreme" as she represents the Philippines in Firdaus Holiday Experience at the Expo City Dubai last December 2022 with Firdaus Orchestra together with other international artists. She performed her single "Isang Himala", the official soundtrack of the box office movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2019 Philippine film), "Hindi Tayo Pwede" from The Juans and "Pasko Na Sinta Ko" by Gary Valenciano.

I was never a big fan of Katrina until a couple of years ago because i thought her voice was very screechy and thin but her voice has really developed into something really special, she has learnt how to not overdo it, you cant put these Filipino artists in the same breath as western ARTISTS, these Filipino ARTISTS are streets ahead of anything in the west, the holy trinity are MORISSETTE, KATRINA and JONA VIRAY all from the Philippines 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

@@EmersonB-yu7gt are you for real, she can sustain high notes longer than anyone, you obviously haven't seen her recent live band performances, she's the best of them all despite what you think and she's the biggest ARTIST to come out of the Philippines that's why a lot of people want to collaborate with her, it's one thing to want, it's another if you can, she's a hard act to follow 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Katrina has been a winner to me since I came across her impersonations of different singers. Oh, low views? Well, other vocal pickers, especially her own people, think she is just a typical, mediocre talent. These kind of folks are so spiteful of her vocals & of what Kat can do. It’s insane really what these folks categorizes as no good. And that’s sad! And here we are, you & I, & a few others, appreciate her vocals tremendously. i will tell you why she is not nearly as popular as she should be. it is because of filipino ideals of stardom. physical appearance and western white skin tone is more important to them than actual talent. katrina is more talented than any of the singers on the largest station in the phillipines abs cbn

Geeze, all that and you forgot to say just how WONDERFUL Katrina Velarde is. There are a few who might be on parr with her, but even Regine said she is better than her. She has everything!! Just say it once!! It's not so hard. I'm not sure why so many from the same country can't give her praise, even if you have a different favorite singer! She is the hardest working, bar none! She should be on a national stage....period.
