Ps 1 album for me, has been on the loop for about a couple of months now. Not able to get over it. It's been a long time coming tbh, because none of the other songs of his any other recent albums has even come closer to this level where I'd listen to the entire album songs without shuffle. My personal opinion is even though some of ARR's other recent works have been a bit lacklustre, I've always had this doubt that we've not given enough time to his songs and hands down one of the best analysis I've seen on current digital music era. Made me rethink my approach to listen to his music ♥️

I already felt the same thing.. that's why I usually listen to the whole album repeatedly until it gets into my head. Iravin nizhal, Ponniyin selvan, Vendhu thanindhadhu kaadu, Cobra are the recent albums i came through and amazed of ARR's unique and unimaginable compositions.. Sad thing is many people especially even some ARR fans couldn't recognise many diamond songs of ARR in recent years. The only reason behind this is choice of songs is in our control nowadays.. we can easily skip a song while listening if it doesn't attract us for the 1st time and we never come back to the same song again..😓 btw kudos for making this video👏🏻

This is exactly what I felt a few months ago. I was so tired of listening to songs on Apple Music. I listened to one song, felt bored within a minute, and skipped to the next song. Couldn't enjoy an album completely. I wanted to go back to those old days like you said, only one album for a month. I still remember I listened to "Thalapathy" album for two months. If you still didn't believe me check the View count of story tellers and channels like MG where video content is not that important. People are ready to listen but these podcast apps are not properly marketed. And there's also this though video is not important for story telling and MG na's content people wants to have their phone in hand while listening to it. None of us wants to keep the mobile aside and plug in the headphones and stare at the wall. May be that's why podcast fails. But that doesn't happen with songs or music. If someone know please give me a reply 😵!

Bro...there are new generation people who are already got use to this kind of mode of song listening (like shuffle, multi artists, multi album, similar genres)...90's and early 2k kids were the last generation of people who hear songs as album by album in audio cassette...the desire to listen many songs and to have many custom playlist from my different moods(driving, focus, relax, etc.,) made way for this new type of listening... Here is my personal experience and opinion, In future I always used to download & listen album wise songs when ever any album releases...after first time i bought amazon prime, it came along with amazon music, i started to listen to modern type of listening and later the prime got over, i found spotify and stick to it since then... i actually like spotify(i don't know about any other app out there), because it understands the taste of my listening for few months and play songs in autoplay based on my taste even in different time period and languages(80's, 90s, 2000's songs and some hindi and telugu songs based on my taste)... whenever i think of hearing only single album, i used to play a particular album in repeat or some single song in repeat. Answering your question my recent album repeats are thiruchitrambalam, ponniyin selvan, vendhu thaninthathu kadu... I like the both way of listening music and didn't feel any difference...back to not personal, for most people, untill we read or know about such differences in an article, we never feel such difference. once we know, we start wearing a new glass and start judging thing through the new glass...I think this thought of differencing old and new way of listening is just to benefit the artists... this ideas of going back to old days, could be a collective mentality of big artists showing their anger toward these platform for their lower revenue as you mentioned in the video...

I am someone who always wants to find new music and genres and spotify algorithm really helped in finding new artists and genres (discovery playlist and their editorial playlists). Also I had this mentality where "more streams = good song" in an album but everyone's taste is different and I found amazing songs with less streams while listening to complete album. For me it depends on my mood and time of day some day all my favorite I'll shuffle and listen some time i just listen to some auto suggestions and rarely listen to whole album since some artist just add their old catalogue to the new album.

Very simple, Spend some time to listen the music or songs, Don't involve in any work during listening also one more thing don't use headset, listen through speaker box system, feeling inside the ear alone not enough also sound (vibration) should touch your outer body too, this is what we done 15 years back, just try it..
