What is the pathfinder build they're talking about?

Its basically just a Pathfinder with Eternal Damnation Amulet and 100% Phys to fire/cold/lightning dmg taken. With the less dmg taken from flasks you just get ridiculously tanky. If you add in Transcendence from timeless jewel and stack some armor you become pretty much immortal with proper gear.

I have no idea if this is possible but since the campaign is so hard, I wish the difficulty would increase per act instead of as soon as you start the game. Like, add the 15% penatly to fire res on Act 1 but cold and lightning are untouched. Then add cold penalty after Merveil (she cursed you on death effect), etc. That way, you could decide to farm a little more in one act before making the next jump. But that is me there :)

but that would be to easy to reset and create a new character once you have any gear, i love taht even mud flats are so deadly early on

@@AchilleasKouKounari Nothing prevent them from making the first step bigger than what I said here. It was an example. I just feel that this flat difficulty was impacting some classes more than others. I played minions and honestly, it was crazy how slow and hard it was when compared to other classes.

They can probably try and split 0-5 and 6-10 acts. Or you can vary mods between each act, but then it will be hard to remember and create enough variability.

@@Hazetheassassin In theory, I agree with you. In practice, forcing people to do that mean that the gauntlet is no more for casual who want to enjoy a challenge for a few hours. Because casual will want to play with the thing they know and have fun.

The oasis is stupid. Linear progression is better.

Easier maps no gmp. Even harder bosses. No one wants to see people die in maps in gauntlet you want multitudes more people bossing and dying to those. Gmp specificly is too punishing in maps but good for bosses.

white maps lose all mods from the campaign and the monsters are pretty weak. All other maps/content is deadly, while white maps are a safe “oasis”

I would love it if a content creator would help work through how they think about creating a build. I’ve never tried to make a build in game. I have tried to make a PoB build but I’ve never been happy with the result. I would love to hear the thoughts that go into it from skill choice to balancing damage versus defenses and which ones are most important versus less important. It would just be interesting to hear from a build creator go through the mental gymnastics that go into it. I’m a soft core player but I would still like to hear how someone balances the two.
