I wanna listen to this guy's entire library. "there's a difference between a thousand hours (working for an employer), and a thousand iterations (venturing as an entrepreneur)". Really resonating stuff.

Don’t leave your main income until your second income overcomes it comfortably. I’d say 3x your main source of income so that a) you have buffer and b) for a rainy day.

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants: eating-spots in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate, this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

@@lexpoleta7940 i second that. My side hustle brings in about 4x to 5x my main income. I would never quit a main job before becoming an entrepreneur. Unless of course you do it right out of college and have an investor backing you

Umm..but no one ever said that there was a skill called business though. Even if you look up the dictionary word it doesn't say that business is a skill so why even post this topic? It makes no sense. A business is a company or organization. In order to run a business you do need competence, knowledge, communication skills, experience, mentorship, a good steam, good workers etc. Business itself is not a skill Naval. No one ever said it was, that's a no brainer. Most of your topics make no sense smh.

We kind of treat it as if it was though. Why do we call it business school if we don't believe it's a thing that can be taught? All he is saying is that doing business is more than just the sum its parts, it requires experiential understanding and multiple iterations to grasp and integrate together all those elements you mentioned. Just because somebody has an MBA doesn't make them better in those areas than someone who has been solving problems on their own for years.

@@Paakku97 I would like to add that he mentions that the best way to actually learn business in the first place is not in business school, rather it is actually working a actual business.

@@kootin definitely. I have an MBA but it didn't help me much for running my own Business. If you want ro be a Manager get an mba. If you want to be an entrepreneur start a side hustle and try to grow it over time.
