I mean the maps have never been a problem for assassin's creed They're always jaw dropping. It's the story and the over the top fighting animations that I hear most complain about. Jacob tends to get criticism as well from what I've seen. People think he's boring and generic. Not too dissimilar to critiques of the previous main character.

@@h4rdi7g3 I mean I've heard those complaints plenty of times since the game came out, and I've never had a problem. I don't need every AC game to have some ultra deep story or plot twists. It's just a simple AC title that kinda doesn't take itself seriously and I like that. Jacob and Evie's sibling banter is one of my favorite parts. I've always liked the clique pair/duo where one is clearly the brains and the other is the brawn but still are trouble makers. My comment is just simply the Syndicate map is my favorite to explore and just travel around every when I am done with the game. The soundtrack is so beautiful and fits the map wonderfully.

Of course we don't have guns anymore - do you know how often we use our temper when someone queues wrong or stands on the left on the escalator? We have *sarcasm* , imagine if we had guns... we'd be way worse than the U.S. Also, at 1:15:45 - I believe they have different accents because Evie spent most of her time around their father, while Jacob spent most of his time with more typically 'working class' people. So, naturally, they developed different accents. The same happened with me and my sister - she went to private school for five years, and I left after two, so, we have different accents despite growing up in the same house.

It's hard to pick a favorite soundtrack in the AC series, because they're so great, but I always come back to Syndicate's. It's such a beautiful score.

I love the idea of Evie coming in with the disrespect on Jacob of hounding him about making a gang, calling it the Rooks then taking on a mission LEADING his Rooks to fight another gang boss lol

Hello Meg, loving the series thus far. I have again started playing Syndicate recently for the 3rd time and i am loving it again. The outfits, the combat, the history its fun. I always loved the cane, but i think the kukris are sick too. Also as you progress further you while find from the skill tree why Eve is more stealthy and Jacob more confrontational, the skill tree has particular skill sets for each of them, but yeah both are good at both the aspect of the combat

In the first games, riding a horse into people caused you to fall off and the horse would roll over as a result. Civilian casualties would cause desynchronization. In Syndicate, a lot of people probably had too much fun driving the carriages off-road and running over a lot of people. 😂😂

Not entirely true. Jacob has intelligence, his issue is his lack of confidence manifested in cockiness. He wants to show off so much, he makes too many mistakes. Evie's flaws are more on taking things too seriously.

There are designated missions for both Jacob and Evie but personally for all the side stuff i prefer Evie bcz of her sneaky style and perks related to stealth. You can choose whoever you like both are good options, jacob the more choatic one if you like that sort of thing.

The way I did skills in this game is more combat for Jacob and more stealth for Evie

Honestly, my playstyle in ac games have always been "fight if the sneaking's fail" so I only play as Jacob if i know a scrap is coming. I say that but i just unlocked the aegis armour last night and it's hard to look at so im playing him more lol

Hi Meg! Love that you're playing Syndicate! It's one of my favorites and has our first playable LGBTQ Assassin since I know in previous games you had been asking for one! I actually met Evie's voice actress, Victoria Atkin, a few years back at a convention and got to talk with her for a while and take a picture too. & then it’s just a whole bunch of talking. My biggest pet peeve is ppl who have to “stop & talk”. Like at least continue the mission while you tell the story no one cares about😂. 1:14:40 also the pointless laughs & loud screams at the cutscenes
