100% agree that sanctions must continue and that they should be brought to a much higher level. In fact, as long as Russia has an army more than is needed to patrol their borders, and as long as they have nuclear weapons at all, just keep on turning up the dial. They have shown themselves to unworthy of any more lofty consideration.
