Is Herobrine truly real? Well, with this modpack the answer is a definite YES! A lot of you guys suggested that I play a mod called From the Fog, which adds Herobrine into your game. I went into this completely blind, and decided to try and survive for 2 hours without Herobrine killing me to see what sort of spooks would ensue! Spoilers he did crash my game right at the start but I don't know if that was part of the Scary Mod or because my gaming laptop couldn't handle the raw unbridled power of The Brine

Hello! Here's something that might surprise you: **Herobrine is actually friendly**. Or at least, he's not actively hostile. In neither the original pasta nor Copeland's stream does he actively make an attempt to harm or even disadvantage the player in any way. Because of this, I like to headcanon that he didn't even know players existed until Copeland's stream. Like, he vaguely got spooked by the first encounter person and ran off, and he was literally just as scared by running into Copeland as Copeland was by running into him.

When I first started minecraft on Xbox 360, I was on the tutorial world, and I dug down into a sandstone cave under the spawn area, which already was weird to me, but there was a sheep down there, just chilling. And I was convinced that sheet was related to Herobrine in some way. Later on I was chilling in my house which had some planter box sort of decorations on the sides, and I saw a zombie walk past on top of the blocks, and only saw the pants. It was then and there that I learned you can dashboard on the 360. That scared me half to death.

It's cool to see you play this mod, I found the mod thanks to a channel called The Librarian were he made hour long videos of him doing stuff in Minecraft with this mod on, he was playing through parts of the mod getting updated & at one point had a collection of Herobrine signs in one area. Also yeah Herobrine has a weird habit of removing your torches(at one point turning them into red stone or whatever ones unless I remembered wrong) & up until a certain point in the updates the monsters, animals & villagers didn't acknowledge him but now they will look at him. Sometimes there's other skins used like some Steve skins that seem to imply he got messed up by something(the warren?) & then there's just Masky from Marble Hornets. Gets funnier when one update added in Herobrine showing up & walking away cause before that got some bugs worked out you could just watch him run into a wall until he disappeared. It's a shame the signs only started showing up near the end, would have been funny to see more weird shit & how you react to that especially if you got the updated mod that added achievements.

Cuz like The Backrooms, Herobrine got saturated with a lot of stuff to the point of lacking the original charm of the original story. He just appears nearby, watching you go about your business, and then he's gone after you've taken a moment and noticed him. He builds things on occasion. The rest of the s p o o p y individuals are also relatively harmless, even if one or two might be more direct about not liking you. Herobrine himself though... He just watches you.

Y'know, I've never really been scared of Herobrine, mainly bc I wasn't allowed to play Minecraft until a few years ago. But even then, I didn't really know much about the Herobrine story other than the fact that some 5 yr olds would dress up as him for Halloween and claim that they were "sOo ScArY." So at the end of this video when you said "I hope while watching it, you became as spooked as I was while playing it" I kinda thought to myself "Well, the only parts that actually gave me a little bit of that weird nervous feeling were the scary ambient music that was edited in and the beating heart noises" All in all, this was a great video and I can't wait to see the next one

Me and my friwnd tried this datapack and i convinced him to try it telling him nothing about the mod, i put the functions like creeping ect. and he told me his heart was beating so fast and even if i had control i was uncomfortable and paranoid.
