it wasn't even just that he was left with 2 HP, as with less orbs in deck he also would've had to reload sooner, so more turns for the boss that he couldn't afford to lose.

@@shadowflamelightburst4503 but because of all the eggs and stones he had he wasted a ton of turns doing little damage and having little to no control over what he was going to throw. Otherwise he could have chosen which orbs to use at which time so as to adapt to the board state better and deal more damage. As long as not having those extra stones and eggs meant doing a single turn more worth of damage he would've survived anyways. If you rewatch the fight you can see he spent a lot of wasted throws at the beginning because he couldn't skip past the stones without going to a daggorb which wasn't ideal because of the crit positioning. He probably couldve saved at least three turns of damage just at the start based on that alone, across the entire fight just based on bad deck order he couldve saved even more.

Chemiball hazard doesnt increase damage when you hit it but deals passive damage based on the number of slimed pegs each turn making it a really reliable source of damage on harder maps

Chemiball Hazard is so insanely good I am sure it's going to get a nerf soon. After just 1 shot it's easy to give yourself a near-guaranteed +150 damage even if you miss every subsequent shot. That and the new Summoning Circle are OP additions.

I don't think you quite realized how the Poison Slime works. At the end of every turn, the targeted enemy takes 10 times the number of poison slime pegs. It's pretty much Spinfection that doesn't go away until the pegs are destroyed.

Also for the chemiball hazard! The poisoned pegs arent extra damage when hit, they’re extra damage just for existing, being on the board, and since they come back with refreshes (sometimes?)… that can be insane passive damage

The squirrel seems to be a 1/2 that seems to jump every now and then. Creating an orb every time you hit 40 is crazy. The squirrels help towards making another squirrel so it very quickly scales during shots. It's pretty much the only boss relic with no downside and it's the most broken one!!

I think they changed the critiball look because they have two new orbs, one that works like critiball for refreshes (where the orb can't hit refresh pegs but it spawns static refresh pegs) and the critsoballos, which works like refreshorb where it crits every few pegs hit, and they just wanted to make the designs consistent depending on their behavior

I'm glad you got the bouncy castle relic so I'm not spoiling. My favorite build is my first run with the new peglin. Got the bounce house relic, kinetic meteorite, two splatorbs, and a rubber orb. The rubber orb goes insane and its so funny, last couple fights I got the every 30 pegs become bombs relic and that just added to the speed insanity. I can only imagine how good it would have been with wall or bouncer damage.

Multiball and especially Matroyorska is insane with that starting trinket that gives +10 to the first peg hit, each ball can buff either the same peg or different ones. The scalling is also wayy better.

31:13 Nope! The poison pegs hanging around on the board are actually dealing damage to the targeted enemy. For example, the three poison slime pegs up towards the top of the pegboard did a bonus 90 or so damage to the upside-down elite towards the end of that fight. In this Lanky Peglin fight you can see the six poison pegs deal 60 extra damage each turn... and it doesn't decay like spinfection does! As usual Tyler bringing the pog peg content. Can't wait for your Spinventor vid!

I'd be really interested to see how the generatorb works alongside the orb that improves pegs, since it seems like the lightning range increases the higher you upgrade a peg. Could you get to a point where you're just hitting everything all of the time?

No, I'm pretty sure it means the more you convert 1 peg with the generatorb, the higher it's lighting tier becomes. This means its probably just like ball lighting so max of 3 times 'charged'. it probably doesn't show up too often but its a good way to make sure you aren't losing out on converts right away.

31:18 madness tip: if you notice, you have 6 poison slime pegs on the board. this means that _after_ the enemy attacks, it should take 6x10 damage, which it does. edit: this means that, combined with gift that keeps on giving, things can get way out of hand on larger boards hope this helps!

The synergy between Morbid and Durable is cracked - not only because of what you said, but Morbid basically negates the drawback of Durable in that you often can't refresh, and Durable negates the drawback of Morbid in that you don't WANT to refresh. Who knew long life and undeath would be such friends?

The two most cracked orbs i found are the Ballm (creates healing slime orbs that heal 1 every hit; amzaing constant healing over the course of battle) And the Summoning Circle (shoots the orb that comes after summoning circle up to 3 times in one shot; absurdly broken with multishots and the red hood)

The Chemiball Hazard is better than you seem to think - the slime orbs' slime doesn't activate based on when that orb is out, it's just that the slime is described on the orb that creates it, because otherwise it'd have to have an explanation dump elsewhere, and Chemiball Hazard's thing is that it sets up some pegs that will cause 10 damage each to the targeted enemy so long as they're on the board - so if you managed to get 10 pegs in a corner slimed by the Chemiball Hazard, and then avoided taking out those pegs, you'd have an extra 100 points of passive damage per turn (after the targeted enemy has had their turn)

So Chemiball Hazard works slightly differently than I believe you're thinking it does. At the end of each turn, the targeted enemy (not the hit enemy) takes 10 damage for every poisoned slime peg that exists on the board at that time. Hitting poison slime pegs is bad, you want as many left as possible.
