I know no one asked but one time I was in class and I brang my phone to school (this was before the pandemic). I had a substitute teacher and her name will be Ms. Karen because she was basically a textbook definition of a Karen. So I was in class and it was fucking DEAD SILENT like you could hear the pencils across the paper and suddenly from my messenger bag, I hear "On a boat ride" (mind you back then I and my sister were HUGE Set It Off fans and my sis set that ringtone) and it went off until forever. Apparently my teacher was deaf and this little snitch, (Let's call him Snitchy Mitchy) hears it and says he hears a phone ringing. I'm over here shaking and about to cry because Ms. Karen is like "I hear a phone whoever has it give it to me" and I'm over here thinking "Oh shit I'm about to be in detention and have my phone taken away". So I'm flipping my shit but trying not to let Ms. Karen notice, even though I'm in the front of the class. So suddenly like heaven sent a whole ass angel down the girl behind me went to Snitchy Mitchy and was like " Hey it's probably a toy," and then she turns to me and was like "It's a toy right?" And I nodded my head, probably looking traumatized and like I just saw hell. I swear if it wasn't for her I would've gone insane. She was so nice the whole school year too and it was really cool.
