Super cool! Love the use of a large nozzle and printing it like it was in "vase mode" with a single perimeter. Nice printing room too.

After 4 failed prints and a great result on print #5, I realized I could have used actual vase mode 🙃

@@StandRacing Hahaha I was going to suggest if the slits keep being a problem to just add some kind of tiny gap or narrowed portion and then cut them out when you're done or turn them into an indent instead if possible and I was going to say a tiny bit of cooling may help, but I'm not that experienced with ASA, just for those long straight sections I was thinking it could help. Would love a video on your troubleshooting and what you come up with to get it to print well.

Thanks! I'll be doing one real soon. Yeah I gave up on the slots completely, it's too easy to cut them out in post to spend so much time trying to make them work.

That is big enough to print custom rims.... what materials can it print with?

It's definitely big enough, but it's your standard FDM printer so it can't make something as mechanically demanding as car rims. There are some pretty impressive plastics it can use though.
