Exploring Tarot

Күн бұрын

Hello fellow tarot explorers!
It is finally here! After months and months of waiting! I got my hands on Stella's Tarot!
And then I go and mess up the recording! 🙈
So about halfway through we have a few minutes of a voiceover because I accidentally muted the mic in the middle of the walkthrough! 😅
Hope you will enjoy nonetheless!

I like the borders, but the copyright is unfortunate. I find it interesting that the official website says it follows the Marseille system. Those courts are not Marseille, they are Thoth. This deck is a strange combo of RWS + Thoth with Marseille Justice/Strength. Another system to learn.

Yes! I thought it was weird! I haven't looked into the deck yet... but I think I might do what Katey Flowers did and just read it as RWS... even though some of those minors did kinda confuse me as well :D

I like the borders. It makes it feel like looking through a window or a portal. When I first saw this deck, I disliked the proportions of the people, thinking the heads were too small for the bodies. But now, it makes me think of paper dolls. If you ever played with them, the clothes were always too big for the dolls. That is how it seems to me now - that the clothes are just too big. This isn’t a criticism at all. I find it very interesting. It makes me more keen on the deck.

Yes, I hesitated for such a long time, and told myself I didn't need this deck many times. But the curiosity got me at last! :) There is something very endearing and interesting about this art. Still undecided about the borders though :D

Loved this video ! I've dreamed about this deck and would love to own it someday. Thanks for letting us know how you got it, it's really beautiful ! As someone already noted the courts seem to follow the thoth system which I hadn't realized but looks pretty fun !

Hi! So happy you liked it! Yes! I am not familiar with Thoth at all so I didn't realize while I was going through the deck! It is quite a special deck indeed, I can't wait to see how it actually reads!

What an interesting deck! I love the artwork, though I agree that the guidebook isn't quite my vibe. The spread of cards in the thumbnail look especially pretty! I'm so curious about this :O

It is such a special deck! I really quite like it, but haven't yet read with it much. Hoping it reads well for me!

Here's the link to Katey's video kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpuQqH6XpJl7faM. I thought you might like to see them trimmed and whether you want to go for it 😊

Thank you Ana! I remember seeing Katey's video a long time ago. But I will definitely check it out again for the trimming!

I wonder whether or not you trimmed the borders. I also wonder how you are using this deck. Have you paired it with any oracle decks?

I haven't trimmed it yet, not sure that I will actually... I haven't started reading much with this deck yet. I have been studying other decks for a while, but you have reminded me of it now so I have taken it off the shelf and put it on my reading desk! :)

Hi! I just looked her up on Facebook and sent her a DM! She replied pretty fast and it was handled very professionally but the shipping took several months. Good luck!

I like the star card. Her head seems more in proportion to her body.
