I think dante was perfect for mvc he has so many weapons and he literally was meant to be stylish in his games so it would only make sense that he was in a fighting game.

Great in universe personality Great voice lines Great and extended move set Easy to pick and incredible tough to master Make use of all this tools Satisfying gamestyle Is literally the perfectly designed character. Overall 8ing did a wonderful job with everyone on this game. They literally maked every single character fun to play in this game. I'm surprise not more companies doesn't approached 8ing to create a fighting game for their IP's. Imagine a Naruto fighting game created by 8Ing, or One Piece or whatever. I just hoping DNF Duel to be a massive success and put them back on the map as one of the best and more well trusted developers of fighting. They deserves all the praises and attention because they are pretty damn fucking good studio. All their fighting games were great and over everything FUN to play. Bloody Roar Naruto: Clash of Ninja Tatsunoko vs Capcom Marvel 3 They are just great a making games fun over everything else

Imagine Dante in a fighting game using DMC5 Dante moveset with Summon Swords, SDT and it’s separate moves, King Cereberus, Balrog Combos with Ignition Meter Mechanic (Kinda like Sun God Kotal Kahn where u spend burn for meter/health), Ecstasy as an extender, and Hundred hit Armor on Bike Attacks? Insane………. Cloud would win every Evo from then on.

Tbh, I bought UMvC3 the other day because it looks so sick, but I'm not sure I'll ever actually get around to it. I'm hard grinding GGST and so far I've only played DBFZ and Strive really. I'd have to figure out team building, get used to the combo structures, the stricter timing, and how DHCs work. I did so combo trials for the characters that I think are cool, but I'm only super into Deadpool, Dante, and Zero. There are a couple others I like as characters, but they just didn't feel like characters I'd enjoy playing(Amaterasu, Viewtiful Joe, Ghost Rider, Vergil)
