Clark Gable and Carole Lombard were such a great couple. The chemistry and the charisma were stunning. In our heart they remained forever.

So sad they only had 3 years together. They seemed to really love each other a lot and want to be and have fun together and that's so rare today.

She was one hell of an actress and woman. She was down to earth and she certainly didnt act like a diva. Her and Gable seemed very happy with each other

OMG, my poor little heart is broken. I remind myself that she probably LIVED more in her 33 years than most of us do in 80 or 90.

The fascinating thing about Carole Lombard is that such a multi talented lady which is what I find her to be. Its been over 75 years since her death and her films are extremely popular and entertaining today as they were when they were released. They don't seem to have aged. Still entertaining us today. Thanks Carole RIP Honey thanks from Catherine in NW England ❤❤👍👍xxxx

BartGear z Polski.

Great pairing of images and music. I think it was said that Gable never recovered by the loss of his "Ma". He tried to find another Carole Lombard, some said his later wives, especially his widow, Kay Williams, were somehow resemblances of Carole. Thank you for this video.

Faith Hill- from the Pearl harbor soundtrack. You can d/load on limewire. Yes, it is really sad, what a lady!! Her birthday is coming up on 10/6, she would of been 99!! I watch it a lot myself & cry sometimes, the way she died, such a great loss. She was the best!! I love her, she is all over my room along with Gable & Harlow-my favorite trio!! And thanks so much for the lovely & touching comment!! :)

I'd rather see it in a museum, or somewhere similar, than left on the ground. JMO - as we are all entitled to. Thanks! Did anyone read the REST of what I wrote? About how many people were lost on that flight? Part of the tragedy is that people forget who else was on the plane... God bless them all. And i adore Carole!!

Carole was more than just a beautiful face, she was a hilarious and daring woman. According to close friends, Carole was the life of the party, she'd pretend to go hysterical and laugh and spin around a room until she fell into a fountain. Another time, she dressed in pajamas of a very obese friend and started imitating him. Both events were witnessed by Gable, who immediately fell in love with her after that. It's so romantic.

Hi CarlaLee! My birthday is 3 days before Carole's! My Dad was also the 6th of October. If you watch my Hands Across.. vid re: the #3 remark made in the movie, I almost fell off the bed when I heard it! Why didn't she listen to her Mom???!! We will never know what happened with Lana & Clark during those shooting days on the set & after. Lana claims to have said nothing happened-yea, ok suuuure, I know I wouldn't want to be responsible for that!!! I'd deny it too!

nuness20 you know nothing. Grave robbery?? Hardly!! Maybe you should ask the Nevada State Museum who very much appreciated the donation of the Bendix Compass fragment. Atleast now the public can see what contributed to this tragedy.

Wow, Canyonair! (And way to judge this person before you have the facts, nuness20 - people, stop doing that here!) That is just amazing! I'll definitely be checking out your web site. I've never understood how that crash happened - how they didn't see or know about the mountain. We lost a LOT of our brave, young WWII soldier in that crash too- I pray they won't be forgotten! (was there a lawsuit against this Bendix thing? I'll check your site and see!)
