It's so unreal to see my hometown Sogamoso in a documentary. Foreigners usually get to the terminal to visit other touristic places and this town has a great location to do it. "Súperman López" has the personality of people in this part of Colombia (Boyacá), pretty quiet, reserved and kind. Riding bicycle allows us to get to work, meet friends, do some errands, exercise, get to school and have fun. Thanks for showing this side of Colombia. I'll definately share it.

This has to be the best short film I've seen combining music, scenery, food, the true grit of Colombia told thru the eyes of two cyclist. The interviews the short clips and attention to detail make it stand out. Big kudos to the crew. I hope the brothers did return to train with the Colombian cyclist. I hope more people see this and realize Colombia is more than coffee, beautiful women, and narcos. I plan to ride some of the climbs featured here. I know it will be epic just like in the film. Thanks again for sharing it on KZbin and making it accessible to so many people who really need the motivation, me included. Best of luck with Thereabouts 4, 5 , etc...

As if I needed another reason to cheer for Lachlan this season. All of the talent and none of the pretension that comes with pro cycling. I never knew I wanted to know what it would be like to plant onions in Colombia, but it was insanely fun to watch.

Glad to hear you are going to keep going with your channel. I watch your vids while pedaling my recumbent exercise bike. I too have gotten a bit tired biking, backpacking, kayaking etc., but, although I have slowed down a bit, I have not, and I hope never will quit. At 63 YOA, I biked across the country. There were two kinds of people on that ride. The younger ones who partied around the campfire, and the older ones like me who jumped into their sleeping bags just after sunset. I’m 75 now, and still bike about 60 miles per week plus walking, hiking and kayaking. I have a directory of research I have downloaded which convinces me that staying active is the only way to live a long, enjoyable life! Hang in there! I know you will!

i lived in Bogata for a few years and there was a line of hills on one side of the city with a climb called La Calera. I used to ride it a few times a week and once I passed a guy riding the bike by sitting on his handlebars facing backwards all while juggling and going uphill at 3000 m elevation. Yep the Colombians are something special.

Inspiring is an understatement! Cracking on those mountains is for the brave like you guys that took your bodies to the limit! The best reward is knowing that the pain was well worth it. Thanks for showing Colombia as it is, without prejudice; just natural and warm with their visitors.
