This is the most we’ve seen Killua take damage in a battle, I enjoyed it. Not him getting hurt obviously, but his grit and determination shining through the pain. I really been liking his character more in this arc.

In Japanese, _Tako_ ＝「 蛸 」means Octopus 🐙, but colloquially is like a sort of slang insult that you might hear from a high school student to describe a dork or loser. It’s a gag/play on words that doesn’t really come through well So when Killua is saying “but you’re an octopus aren’t you?” Ikalgo retorts with “don’t call me an octopus!” cuz he’s imagining Killua is calling him a loser. His character embodies the sort of guy who has no luck trying to be the suave guy with good timing, instead he’s just an octopus (loser) so when Killua calls him cool, it’s like receiving approval from your old bully.

It's missing the speech bubble from the manga in the previous panel where it's written in small "Doesn't Ika mean squid?" before he points out that he's an octopus. He's just reacting to Ikalgo's name.

The gap btw the ants who came from peaceful NGL citizens and those who were from Gyro's crew is crazy...obviously we should expect kind ants to appear at some point but the story also gives us former 'bad guys' who redeem themselves in that ant next life I really like that ^^ waiting for my dude 🐨
