From what I gather from last episode is Sagiri wants to kill people painlessly but is afraid to carry that burden of killing somebody, that's why she can't kill them painlessly. Gabimaru doesn't care about the way he kills because he accepts that burden. At least that's what I think is happening lol

Gabimaru attacked Sagiri because of the info the other executioner gave about the next wave of people who will be sent to the island by the Shogun. The next ones to come are the Iwakagure ninjas, the same ninja village Gabimaru belongs to. If they come it will make it harder for Gabimaru as they will hunt him and he viewed Sagiri to be a hindrance to the mission. Gabimaru is of one goal, get the elixir and return to his wife asap.

Reason why Eizen was cocky is that he was the 1st ranked executioner, so he’s the most accomplished of them all. In the manga they do show their rank as they show each executioner, idk why they didn’t show it here. The main girl is the 12th/bottom ranked while the purple haired one that went back is 11th. Others comments from other reactions I’ve seen mention that rank doesn’t quite equal strength though. What happens to Eizen does show how powerful the prisoners could actually be

ranks are just there to show who is the nearest person to become the Master ans eizen was rank 1 but there are executioners that is stronger than eizen that has lower ranks.

One of the reasons that Sagiri gets a hard time from her fellow executioners is because she’s a rookie and the youngest out of them. I don’t think the tough talk comes from a malice place. More so them trying to look out for her and give her game. Even If it comes out in a rude condescending way.

I think Gabimaru was going to kill Sagiri, because her morality/mindset is ridged and based on rules and orders instead of right/wrong or survival. Also even after what happened with the other criminal she still wanted to him to bind her hands.

You will have to watch the next to find out :) to be fair about the criminals, they are death row criminals so you cannot take it easy with them and Gabimaru just proved it when he attacked her that these criminals are not to be trusted not a 100% at least. I have a feelin thouh that we will see some team ups regardless :)

The creator of the series, Yuji Kaku. Was Tatsuki Fujimoto assistant, who is the creator Chainsaw Man. Both creators have a talent for creating nightmarish otherworldly creatures and this has them in abundance. Can’t wait for you ladies to see more of them.

It is not even like jigokuraku has a demon slayer level of animation, well I guess everyone has their tastes but the story if you compare to others anime more cliché in the type of the setting they give, jigokuraku is pretty different and way more interesting for me at least.
