They built up the exact weapon I had in mind from the start. Can't get through armor with slashes and too weak to handle these weapons? To match his agility, a rapier came to mind. I didn't think they'd go with anything assassin-like such as a blow dart, caltrops, or anything. Even a sling would take a bit of strength. So, rapier was definitely the first thing to come to mind. Then, the blow dart wouldn't have surprised me, but it wasn't my first choice.

Actually, Bojji didn't go overboard with that last scene.. I believe Bojji smacked his face into the ground because his punch is pretty much powerless since he has no strength, he couldn't feel his own punches that's why he smacked his face into the ground instead :)) it's a really small detail, but very well done imo!

I quite appreciate that the bar fight wasn't a complete act. It once again brings to mind the Despa/Reigen comparison.... sure, both characters may come off as phonies at first, but that doesn't mean they don't teach valuable lessons! 😉

I mean it's still pretty different. Despa literally did reach boji how to use that sword and use pressure points etc. Reigen more taught mob like.....life lessons rather on how to do anything in particular with his power

The rapier back in the day would fuck you up royally. you get stabbed your cloth/clothes would get pushed into the wound, and the way the blade was built when you got stabbed and blade was pulled out your wound, closed immediately so all that shit stuck inside your body, mad infection. Bc medical reasons they wouldn't know to clean inside the wound only outside/surface area. Historical note: an Estoc is normally a square section blade, designed to puncture armour. It is usually a heavier blade designed for two handed battlefield use. (double-edged, single-edged or edgeless) [ In its early 16th century Germanic form, it combines the length, hilt and decorative detail of its longsword cousins with a relatively narrow and thick blade optimized for thrusting. Some estoc blades retain cutting edges while others are so thick in cross-section that they are simply hilted spikes. All are very stiff and acutely pointed in order to exploit the narrow gaps in plate armour of the day.] The rapier is normally edged, so can be used for cut as well as thrust, and lighter for single handed use. (A rapier was intended specifically for unarmored defense & duelling.)
