you can't even do that, without mods, consistently though mostly because depending on where your cursor is, it deselects the default option tho to be fair "better dialogue controls" and "better messagebox controls" are the kind of mod you only remember when you forget to install it once every blue moon

When I first saw this video in my recommended, I forgot that "UI" and "HUD" aren't exactly the same thing and I was thinking "I mean of course you could, Skyrim doesn't really have much of a HUD, you'd only really be losing your compass and health/stamina/magicka bars and it's still pretty easy to tell how you doing without those, this won't be hard at all." So glad I actually watched the video and saw what was really going on.
