I’m glad I live in a country that allows the woman to actually enjoy her new born and get paid while doing so. In Germany you can take up to 3 years of maternity leave, not fully paid, but partially. You can leave six weeks before your due date, and stay home eight weeks after and get fully paid. You can take up to 36 months of maternity leave, although most women here do 12 months because they want to get back into the work life.

No i do not think it is strange that she did not have her Baby Shower on the West Coast of the USA. New York was the closest place for her friends to get to. Also it takes less time to get from New York to England, which means less time for a woman in Meghan's condition to be flying. Also she needed to get home quickly, so she could get some rest before her and Harry headed to Morocco.

Biologically Megan is mixed race! She is half black and half white. I am British and in England we do not say people who are half black and half white are black. I don't understand why Americans say mixed race people are black as if it's some sort of fact and refuse to say she is mixed race or biracial. But saying that I guess it comes down to the one drop rule... however it's about time Americans faced up to the fact that half black and half white people exist and hence they are not 'black' as a result. If a mixed race person wishes however to identify as black for example then that's there prerogative, however that's very different from the actual biology of their DNA and what they actually are! I find it incredibly frustrating - we don't have this kind of confusion in London and also it implies that mixed race or biracial people should not acknowledge their white side or their white DNA, that's not right in my books! this is who they are for goodness sake! Deal with it !
