@@neganrivals Objectively, when compared to every other charcter in the game, she doesnt have the damage/utility to compare. that there is a good black widow player doesnt mean the character is good. Her time to kill is low and she has no utility other then her gun. On top of that her ult also sucks, other ults are easily capable of making a team immortal or dealing massive damage/ killing multiple enemys. black widows ult has a long charge does do a little damage and slows. black widow objectively speaking is a horrible character when compared to every other character on the roster.

all black widow needs is a mantis tossing her damage boosts every so often and shes got her 1 shot headshot. i played mantis with a really good widow and basically pocketed her damage boost while healing the rest of my team, the widow had 27 final blows and 24k damage by the end. meanwhile our moonknight was complaining that I wasn't healing him enough (literally had healing up on him basically 24/7) and that the tanks weren't doing their job.

That's because mantis healing is terrible. The reason isn't that she doesn't heal enough, the reason is that she doesn't heal FAST enough. All other healers heal instantaneously. Mantis puts a very slow heal over time on you. This means that if you're 10/20% health, dagger, invisible, luna, jeff, even raccoon they all can heal you much, much faster than Mantis can. Enemies can easily damage you through Mantis healing or even it out which makes people think they're not getting healed even when you have 30k healing at the end of the game. Also, one major problem with mantis is, because she does the most damage of all the healers. A lot of people that pick her, esp in lower tiers, are too focused doing DPS over healing. But this is an annoyance with many healers. Like why are you picking Loki and then barely healing little bro. Why are you jeff and all you do is swim around hitting enemies instead of spraying us with that watery goodness? Why are you a one girl concert Luna? Why the f are you cloak 90% of the time dagger?

@@keandreee This is along the lines of what I was thinking with a friend. I would've liked if she had more teamplay like everyone else. Like perhaps her hits put a debuff like Cloak's barrier or a kill threshold like Bucky. Maybe the Mark actually gives Punisher Vision on that target for your team. Like, she's supposed to be a sleeper spy- and all she really has is 2-3 hit sniper rifle and an abysmal melee option. I think it'd be cool if she maybe had percentile damage like Wolverine and/or a bit more relation to the SPY parts by giving intel to your team or using espionage on the opposition -like maybe model swapping teammates or something.

You buff everything else but the damage, longer slow duration, larger aoe, or you change it altogether, like a one shot (for 250 HP) beam that pierces through everything but with a small radius (half the size of sova ult). Definitely more sniper-related than a slow field with damage. Anyways, definitely remove the zoom in, that's the priority. Don't know why they put that in there.

I say either buff her bolt action delay to be less so she can shoot a little more or make her a one shot like Hawkeye but only to 250 characters. And nerf hawkeye by having him need to draw his bow a bit longer or have that if you draw and shoot under that full charge time you get damage reduced from your shots unless of course your ulting with him. If that doesn't work for black widow give her a self buff ability to allow one shots to the head but the cooldown is one of the longer ones (of course not dr strange portal long like maybe 30 seconds or 25.)

I do really appreciate widow not being able to oneshot people, it makes her actually focus on helping teamfights to get kills which makes the game way more fun for everyone. Bad Spideys here. The way you dive Widow is to sling toward a spot on the ground near her and use the insane uppercut range to knock up while she burns the kick and misses it. Then you can pull yourself to her and finish or even pull her to you while she’s floating in the air.

Not that she's bad, but other characters just delete heroes for free like Hawkeye and Hela, so her niche is just not really useful in comparison. BW shoots around 1 bullet per 1.3 second; assuming you're scoping, while the damage is 240 in that 1.3 second the enemy would've run away or be healed quickly rendering her "chip" damage useless. There are not that many scenario/map where Hela falloff would be bothering her anyway. I just think BW needs a buff, and a better ult.

I think Widow does have a unique niche when the enemy team has a character who is doing a lot of work but you can't get close enough to do anything meaningful to them you can swap to Natasha and poke that player out. Her Dmg is very high despite not having a one shot. She can definitely make the enemy think twice about peeking you.

I mean, like every character, she can be effective. It just doesnt feel like her kit works very well though for people that would be attracted to it. I like that you really utilize her other options in her kit thiugh besides m1. Feels for sure like you have a really good understanding of her specific role and how she is supposed to perform, contrasted to a character like widowmaker. Very nice 👍

With the Hawkeye team-up, Widow's ult can 1 shot any character under 350 hp. A fully charged plasma burst has an 8m explosion range and deals 170 damage. With supersensory hunt active, her ult can hit the actual player (170) and the afterimage (170) simultaneously for a total of 340 damage. It looks like only one afterimage can be hit at once, otherwise it would be able to 1 shot tanks lol.

I wouldn't give her a 1shot headshot but I would like to see something like "explode the last round you shot" for a "1shot" burst but on a cd. Right now if the supports are on point, it just feels so bad seeing the enemies go back to full before you can even fire a 2nd shot.

Playing Widow with a Storm is insane since the passive dmg buff from storm (when she is on dmg obv) is enough for widow to 1 shot hs

i think her snipe kit is fine, the batons kit is what needs work. it needs a mechanical reason to switch to it, having a movement / defensive cooldown attached to her batons would be amazing. if added tho it would probs need a drawback like being locked into ur baton form for a slight duaration because she is alrdy underrated and it would b very easy to swing her from 'd tier' to 'god teir'

I think an easy buff for her would be an increased RPM everytime you land a hit. Like a momentum mechanic. Not much, maybe + 3% percent per shot up to a cap of 15%. Seems like a fair deal to me.

I think you're putting in a lot of work with widow and I think its really cool to see what you've been able to do with her! However I do think Widow needs something else in her kit. I don't like the idea of making it a 1 tap headshot because that can become insanely oppressive given to a skilled enough player or a huge detriment to a team with a bad player. But I do like other ideas like shooting way quicker, or applying some effect that can cause a target to get more damage if hit again. Or things like anti-heal so the target can't heal through the damage.

There are many things they can do with her to bring her up to the levels of sillyness of the other cast. RPM Buff is a good one ofc. I'd personally suggest to have her "Armor Piercing" rounds where a percentage of the damage goes beyond shields. One shots are probably still off the table, although they could rework her ult to give her some potential. The problem is her role is clearly undefined. She has some mobility to get away and reposition but it's only rivaled by Mister Fantastic in terms of the worst mobility in the entire dps category, that's just how insanely stacked this roster is. I would suspect this is one of the first heroes they designed.

most fun I had with Black widow is when an enemy Capt. America was acting like a roamer and trying to kill the backlines. He figured he could outrun everything because he had sprint. So did Black widow lmao. I chased him down and just kept shooting him. Even after he took the health packs on the map I kept his HP down. By the end of it he just stood in a corner and stared at me as I shot off the last of his health.

I honestly think Black Widow is slept on and the buffs were a start to make her stand out a bit more but I think it would go a long way to give her an actual ult and reduce the cooldown of her kick since its her only anti dive tool. My suggestion for ult is either significantly buff the rail gun to make it not feel like a wet noodle trying to be like a cloak and dagger ult but with no heals or give her a 8 second 1 one shot where she powers up her rifle and can one shot 250 with body shots and 300 with headshots.

black widow is a finisher, given that she can’t one-shot and given her ultimate, which makes sense for a theme around black widow spiders, but i’d like to see her get her widow’s bite to stun close-by enemies, for three reasons: 1. it pushes the black widow theme even more 2. it’s her most iconic weapon by far 3. it lets her have some way of actually initiating those finishing blows on a healthy victim apart from her ultimate tbh replace her kick with that

feel like one thing they can do to make widow better and not making her one shot is just go all in on her movement so she has really good survivability vs dives. make her be able to run without cooldown. give her wall climb and double jump. if thats still not enough give her a self heal like soldier good survival wud enable some really creative gameplay like being a sniper that goes on crazy flanks and or sets up in a wild off angles wud b really cool

Widow is a good hero in theory she’s meant to be played in tandem with other heros to get the initial damage to get them into one shot range. Her kit works well with spider man with her kit allowing her to take aggressive angles and finish off Spider-Man’s kills or get the initial damage for Spider-Man to finish off but the meta currently doesn’t support this playstyle.
