M2K talking about how beating people makes him feel bad because he empathizes with them reminds me of MKLeo's SmashCon interview. Leo didn't pop off against Samsora or even look all that happy...because he knows he made a ridiculous comeback and his opponent must feel awful for losing. Celebrate your achievements, M2K, but hold on to that empathy you feel for your opponents. It respects them as competitors and as human beings.

lmao this has to be one of the best videos on youtube i wonder how many people have been waiting for his input of the smash doc for awhile wondering what he thinks of what was said, what was actually true, things like response to what ken said or what the players summed up his playstyle or how he thought, the 2006/07 era, that tournament vs mang0 etc. definitely just wondering what happened behind the scenes from m2ks pov. especially the sleep/couch troll lmao. things even like brawl being more popular for the first 5 years is interesting. back when i disliked smash and only knew of brawl, it seemed it was the only thing people would play on the wii, but looking it at it from a competitive stand point and not knowing of the scenes or games at the time, it seems looking back at it that melee was more popular despite it not being so. i barely knew about melee then or 64, people always made up things about the games so the timeline and facts about the games were never true or understood.melee was considered the 2nd smash, newer. brawl or melee was slightly discussed over what was the best, people mentioned 64 and it was considered fake or at least never mentioned when it was, and that supposedly pikachu and kirby were broken. i hated smash till 4 was given as a gift from a friend at school on the 3ds. i remember another friend wanting to give me the unlimited demo but i thought it was pointless, the title screen didnt even help give controls, just said special and attack button lol. i ended up trying to learn pikachu on the demo by dash attacking till the edge of the stage and using smash attacks, barely learning quick attack as a recovery, marios up b, and links up b. (i still havent used up all the remaining attempts) during brawl, people would never tell you the controls and you had to play on the damn wii mote, just to be beaten in a pokemon battle (trainer vs trainer) of all items on spear pillar (i think). i remember always wanting to play pikachu or meta knight and they were considered bad, and i could never recover or understand how final smashes worked, any fucking controls. now ive wasted money on the wii u for 4, and the gc controller and stupid knock off adapter, time on melee and 20xx, now i recently got the switch for ultimate despite despising the idea knowing its not possible, and i find no friends want to play smash anymore. its weird to think what it would be like if i could understand then, play and learn then. i feel the same towards things like yugioh, always wanting to try until i finally did, and learning about competing was amazing. now esports is huge and im still wondering if i should try smash ultimate, melee, more of yugioh, counter strike and try things like magic the gathering, or even speed cubing for the rubiks cube. i wanted to try clash royale but the community is not great. i think its ironic he mentioned that hiatus before rom and getting 2nd, he just recently had the hiatus for tbh9 and placed i think 5th? at least i think that was what was said in the esports espn video that was recommended. and then he just got 2nd at elgx a day or 2 ago. i keep thinking about him sometime beating mang0 probably because of the damn pound thing (lol) but also because of the past sets vs mang0.
