Instead of a bee suit, you can also use rain gear. Rain pants, rain coat and a pair of fishing gloves. Wear a ball cap and a mosquito net. Draw in the strings for the waist, ankles and wrist so they can't sneak in. Done this several times. Works great. And a shop vac works great for collecting wasps and bees and such. Just gotta remember to put a bag over the end of the hose when you're done so they can't find their way out. Put about an inch of water with a few drops of dish soap in the bottom of the vac and they'll be dead in a hour.

Hi from a viewer watching from France. I once drove a walking floor tipper here in France,i used to load trash in Lyon and empty in a land fill in the boonies in St Étienne, man what an eye opener,i'm convinced that it's an area no-one really cares about, just throw their trash in a bin and forget about it,the're pretty clever land fill companies, amazing how they manage such huge amounts of endless waste,It really is waste management.Funny how you can be of any political persuasion, left right, vegan, meet eater,religious,non-believer that waste just keeps on a comming. There are some incineraters where they burn it,but they are just simply over filled, the piles of rubbish are just huge. Not quite sure about the others, but i reckon you blokes are on the right track,we only have one planet earth and people like yourself are doing what they can to make it better.

We had 3 Cat scrapers we left on a finished job site for a couple weeks before moving to the next site. When we went to start the move the number of wasp/hornet nests in and on all 3 machines was unbelievable. 2 of us got stung a few times just checking them out. If you got within 10 feet of a nest they'd start boiling out in full attack mode...real aggressive little sob's. Our mechanic saved the day with a weed sprayer, water and a couple gallon jugs of Dawn dish soap. Mixed it pretty heavy with the soap. We laughed at him, told him we wanted them dead not clean, but the stuff killed the wasps on contact. Even the ones flying would intantly drop like a rock if they flew through the mist. Live and learn

Hey brother, here's another easy, cheap way to get rid of the wasps. Take your garden sprayer, the one you use to spray weeds with, and mix us some soapy water, and spray them with the soapy water. The soap (dish liquid) breaks the surface tension on the water, and the wasps will drown, and the soap will cling to the wasps and they can't fly and they will die.

I don’t remember who told me about when to spray for wasps but when I still lived with my parents, someone had told me to avoid the wasp activity by spraying at night. There are at least 3 reasons to spray wasp nests at night & they are: 1.) At night is when they all go back to the nest they call home. So at night the numbers are higher because they go back to their nest. 2.) At night they’re not just tending to the nest, some might be sleeping which makes them slow to react to being sprayed, 3.) They are much slower to react at night in cooler temperatures which also increases the number of the kill ratio in your favor. They’re much more active during the day because of higher temperatures & during the day is definitely when they will be on the attack to go after someone trying to spray them. Most definitely when spraying with wasp spray use the long distance sprays-some have a spraying distance up to 20 feet. Long distance sprays are great during the day because anyone will need every advantage they can get because wasp daytime activity is just like fireworks-spray the nest & the fuse has been lit. Some very helpful information for handling mother nature situations. With that great & highly fertile hatchery waste your business should have a long & happy EGG-XISTENCE. Good luck, great videos & great explanations of your business.

Yellowjackets are the worst. I've become so sensitive to them that I can't risk getting stung. I keep spray cans strategically staged around. Could you plant ground covers that are heavy to legumes. If so, they could be chopped and added to your composting material to provide nitrogen and other nutrients.

24:27 im curious about how stable the top of the landfill will be, for permanent structures. I like th idea of solar, but your on top of a massive windy hill, use it. I have seen modular vertical wind turbines on containers, essentially its a "decide you height" cylinder that is composed of 3 clam like wings that actuate on a central gear varying how much wind they grab, to keep energy output constant. the benefit here is you don't have to have the big tall windmill style ones,(with expensive gear boxes that attempt to regulate the speed of the wind on the blades) and the cylinder doesn't rely on directional wind, and they work effectively in large bunches. example company, Harmony Turbines, though they haven't hit production yet. from what i've read in the past few days (been on a greenhouse blackhole) is the majority of your incurred costs are heating, labor and water. if your able to put glass greenhouses, and capture water, and put turbines/solar,., i think your looking at a very profitable business.
