Do something called the Canada Cup, where all Canadian born NHL players play for their own province. So like team BC, team Alberta, Team Saskatchewan, team Manitoba, team Ontario, team Quebec and team Atlantic (all the Maritime provinces) and do a tourney type format!

Great video! I've got a couple of corrections for you though: Yes, Auston Matthews was born in Cali, but he grew up in Arizona for most of his life and his favorite team was the Arizona Coyotes. There are a few European players who had favorite NHL teams growing up. Alex Ovechkin's favorite team growing up was the San Jose Sharks. Patrik Laine's favorite team was the Washington Capitals. Evgeni Malkin's favorite team was the Boston Bruins. John Carlson was born in Massachusetts, but he grew up in New Jersey and was a New Jersey Devils fan. Johnny Gaudreau did grow up in New Jersey, but his favorite team was the Philadelphia Flyers. Bobby Ryan also grew up a Flyers fan. James van Riemsdyk also grew up in New Jersey, but was a Rangers fan.

Bobby Ryan is from Cherry Hill, NJ which is five minutes from Philly. The Devils are a good hour and a half north and all of South Jersey are Flyers fans. And it's not just that, but this video was just bad. "What if every player played for their hometown??" "JK we're gonna leave prominent Canadian players on American teams for balancing and because it's easier". I mean I get it's a hard concept and I understand not knowing the differences between south jersey and north jersey but it's like you didn't even try, and when you put out videos this bad people stop clicking when they see you in related videos. Oh, and Johnny Gaudreau also who is prominently referred to as a South Jersey native. The Flyers are the home team of South Jersey. 0/10.

This might need a lot of effort but do what if Every NHL team used their team that had the best record in their franchise history.
