Terrific video, man! What a beautiful ride! Like you, I am not interested in "catching air" or spinning doughnuts. I want a nice leisurely ride so that I can be challenged on times, but still enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Your part of the world is high atop my bucket list, as I am a huge fan of the Old West. Much respect all the way from Newfoundland, Canada.

I really liked your video. I watched all three parts. Most videos don't tell you what trails they are on or the town is near them. That is why I'm giving you a thumbs up. I've been riding The Paiute since the 1990's and still go two or three time every year. Thanks for the videos.

Thanks again for posting. Beautiful country. Showed the wife this vid - she loved the scenery and asked me where this was. One step closer to getting her out there now! Thanks! ;-)

In Colorado the trails are 48” with steel posts. Maybe each FS district does it differently A 50 inch machine is still too big for Colorado trails. But still lots of other trails to use

Your right, the 50 inch trails on the piute are awesome! I think I may need to get another machine just for that. thanks for the video, now I have spring fever. haha!

Another great video! Still like the out of cab shots! I’m looking to compare the Maverick trail vs. the RZR trail on the 50” gates on the bottoming out issue...

We were in such a hurry this day, we had a lot of miles to cover. We just didn't take any time to get out of cab shots, sorry. It felt like we were pushing it all day. Back in June I went on this same trail with my brother following me in a rented RZR Trail. He didn't bottom out on any of the gates, and I drug the belly on every one. The RZR is just short enough that the rear tires are coming up as the front tires go down. The Mav is longer so the front tires are down long before the rear tires head up, so we rubbed. Still prefer the Maverick Trail. The other 99.9% of the time this just isn't an issue. Even my brother said the MT was way more comfortable and he'd rather have the MT.

This is a great video, thank you. I am working on putting together our first group trip to Marysville in July of 2020, your videos really help us get an idea of what to expect. I notice your Maverick has the fender flairs and wider tires than the factory provides which is exactly what I have. What is your exact width?
@MyATVlife5 жыл бұрын
51.25 wide in the front and 51 rear. I don't have fender flares on mine, only rear mud flaps. I have only found one gate that I couldn't fit through (I can't remember which trail it was, but it was up by Fillmore), but I have been able to go anywhere with my current width. I'd say if you're under 52 (ish) inches wide you won't have any troubles. You'll love Marysvale. Great town 👍

How many miles can your machine get on one tank of gas?
@MyATVlife5 жыл бұрын
The most miles I've ever gone on a tank is 136 miles. The fuel light came on at about 105 miles and the gauge showed empty, but when I got back to camp and topped off the tank it still had a few gallons left in it. The fuel gauges in these are notoriously inaccurate. I typically average about 18 mpg with mixed trail and road riding, so conservatively guessing I could get close to 180 miles on a tank. Even at the worst mpg I've ever had (16.5 mpg) is still get 165 miles on a tank of fuel.

@@MyATVlife I'd say that's pretty darn good. We live in Pennsylvania about 90 minutes South of the Pocono Mountains. There's a Can Am dealer 20 minutes from our home that has great reviews on the internet. What would you say is a good price for that unit before adding any accessories?
