Fun fact: Brian Cox showed up to the funeral scene shoot to confuse the media as to whose funeral it was, and his wife was one of Logan's mistresses in the front Pew...

NBC Sunday Morning did an interview w/ Cox a few weeks back & he mentioned this. They even showed a pic of him walking into the church. That's funny Brian's wife was in an episode. She is a well know & award winning actress, so why not.

Favorite part of the episode which was a small detail. When the president was making fun of Roman. Kendall jump in gave the president a look, and told him to stop. Very Ballsy for him to basically tell rhe president to knock it off.

This episode and Connor's Wedding episode are my absolute favourites. Wow. For me, Roman stole the episode. Kieran was incredible throughout!!

The eulogy's were amazing parts of talent and writing, a real high water mark I feel for the actor who plays Roy, followed by a close 2nd as other have pointed out with Mr Culkin, (his break down where we wished out loud if they could somehow get his father out of the casket so he could see his dad one last time, was incredible, really no words, I mean when ever have you seen that kind of a moment in TV of film ever?

I have been really enjoying this season. The show runners have done a really good job of landing the plane so far. I am optimistic. Contrast that with GoT and there were all sorts of warning signs before the last episode that the show runners had stopped caring about the show.

Me too, getting major GoT Season 8 vibes - feels like there are so many narratives / arcs to wrap up that it’s either going to feel rushed or leave us with loads of unanswered questions. At least the Succession writers are phenomenal and haven’t dropped the ball once yet. We will just have to hope that they know what they’re doing 🤞

I don't know if Colin the Security Guard is on board working with Ken. Colin gave him a look as if he remembered all the sh&t he had to do to cover up Ken's F-ups. Plus he did hang around and be not only a Fixer but a sound board for Logan. There conversation about Colin talking to a shrink after Logan died sounded kind of ominous. There's 1 90 minute episode left yet so much that needs to be tied up. I thought it was odd yet interesting how they were using the intro pics for next week's preview. It looks like a knife fight with the sibs in the end. Woof.

Funny, my take on Masha placing her hand on Kerry’s when Kerry started to cry was a subtle nudge for Kerry to buck up and get her act together- no emotional displays allowed. ..at least if you’re not Roman.

Imo the roys will all lose.. yeah Mattson and shiv have a deal but believe me she'll get cut off as well. Just like Logan said, "they're not serious people" and likewise other people around will never take them serious.

More evidence of just how unfit and unworthy Roman would be as company executive. He couldn't run a lemonade stand let alone run a multi media conglomerate. Loved the moment in the episode when Logan Roy's exes all sat together. It was a great episode for me. The only flaw i thought was the ideas that Tom could not attend the funeral because he was too busy with ATNs riot coverage. A network president as green as Tom is going to have a ton of support from the c suites execs. Quite frankly, they would manage the coverage better than Tom. Delegate and attend your father in laws funeral. Be there for the family. Be there to hob knob with all the power brokers in attendance. Be there too get the inside scoop on the happenings.

I thought this episode was sort of boring. Roman's incest jokes came out of left field, and were very creepy. Hurray for Jess, in planning to get out of this mess!
