How to Hand Knit a Chenille Round Ball Pillow in 15 min! 🧶 🪢

Welcome to this week's Easy DIY how to hand knit a round pillow with chenille yarn in 15 minutes! The week I will show you how to hand knit a round pillow using 1 ball of Bernat Big Blanket yarn to make a ball shaped pillow that is approximately 12 inches round. This easy chunkyknit project can be done in 15 minutes for a beginner! This super chunky knit does not need a crochet hook! It’s hand knitting easy!

Attempts one and two....complete failure. Lol First attempt, I soon realized I was looping yarn from the wrong direction when folded. Take apart and start over. Second attempt, my stitches are definitely too big and loose, can see the polyfil through the stitches and my end looks like it was mangled by a dog. Take apart and start over. Third attempt will come after a coffee and I stop being annoyed with myself. Lol.

This is Great! Currently redecorating my small NYC studio. Im going with a minimalistic approach. I'm doing Japanese style, organic shikibutton mattress on a tatami mat for sleeping quarters. Decluttering my space with nuetral color palette with plants all around my space. I've watched your chunky blanket videos as well. A blanket and a couple of these pillows will look great on top of my mattress! It looks so cozy already! Thank you for such wonderful tutorials. You make it look so easy and fun. I used this tutorial for a pillow and stuffed it with lavender so it’s scented and it turned out really well. the only tips I have for someone doing this for the first time is you should probably make the chains tighter than 4 inches so when you stuff it stuffing doesn’t fall out. other than that this is a really easy to follow tutorial
