@@idontlikerome2744 I suppose it would be an acknowledgement of Country A's superiority. For example, if England makes Castile end its rivalry with France, the peace deal already makes Castile recognize England as the victor, but England could force Spain to publicly state that France is in a higher weight class to delegitimize Spain's status as a Western European major power. I can't think of a specific historical example of when anything like this happened.
