In 1928 the shipyard in Bremen launched a huge ocean liner also with the name Bremen. It made the fastest crossing across the Atlantic taking the record away from the rival liner Mauretania, which had held the speed record for 20 years. In EU4 you could go for the first world circumnavigation with Bremen? By the way you're series is great, picking up loads of strategies from these.

There is a FAMOUS BAND in Bremen's history: the "Bremer Stadmusikanten" ... a DONKEY, a DOG, a CAT and a COCKEREL ... one standing on the other and "making music." So the mission - should you choose to accept it is: *_Conquer countries representing these animals!_* France = cockerel, USA = donkey (for the Democrats) ... alternatively Mexico also works, CATalonia, "any mountain province in Switzerland" for a St. Bernhard (or whatever you want to come up with ... Britain for a Terrier could work, but it wasnt a Terrier ... look up the statue of the "band").

They will still ask you to. Its just that they won't declare a war. This got fixed multiple times already but the bug returns here and there.

@@marcgdr7038 Not Always. My expierence ist That the Demand unlawfull terretory If you have Electors Voting for you. Or you are a growing Power Bordering them. In my Württemberg and Baden Game they requested Unlawfull Al the time. However I would Not say that this is a Bug.

There's an achievement for Munich/Bavaria where you have Bremen as a vassal and give them the province of Werder. But you're a strong, independent republic that don't need no overlord! Conquer the province of Werder for you! Also here's one I came up with for Verden: Fields of Verden; As Verden own 50 grassland or farmland provinces.

The Munich achievement "Stern des Südens" is referring to the football club Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is called "Stern des Südens" which translates to Star of the South. Bremen once was one of Munich's biggest rivals, so that's why the achievement wants you to vassalize Bremen. You could do a similar challenge for Bremen which would be very interesting to play. As Bremen vassalize Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Köln, Dortmund, Brunswick (i.e. Brunswick and Wolfsburg), Nuremberg, Berg, Mainz (i.e. Kaiserslautern), and Cologne (that's all football champions of the German football league). If you want to be hardcore, stay a free city while doing it :D.

Bremen makes me think of the Bremen Mask from Zelda Majora's Mask. Bremen Mask is all about dancing with chickens, and the closest thing to a Chicken that I can think of would be some Aztec Eagle Warriors, but they're all gonna die when the Moon crashes anyway. So how about eliminate the Aztecs as Bremen? Also just like how in Majora's Mask you lose all your money when you reset time, gotta go bankrupt in the Bremen game too. :) EDIT: sad... no bankruptcy this run either...

It's weird, I thought the issues with AI getting massive coalitions off PU wars were resolved in a recent patch. Strange to see France get such a huge coalition off the Burgundian inheritance PU war. In one of my games I also had Poland get a huge coalition from PUing Bohemia. Maybe AE values are different for PUing into the HRE from outside of it?

For Bremen, do a reverse UNO card for the achievement where as Bavaria have Bremen as a march and have them own a certain province in Somalia. Instead, as Bremen, have a Bavarian subject and own all of Somalia (Or for fun, form Somalia)

Dont be overwhelmed ... just stick to learning "the basics" one part at a time, beginning with the diplomatic system, because you can get deep into trouble if you annoy the wrong people. Playing a big nation is probably not a good idea, because you have too many things to look out for to "get anywhere".

*tfw the first EU4 playthrough you ever completed was Bregenz* EDIT: For people who want to play Bregenz... Don't go Diplomatic, unless it's for the sole purpose of avoiding AE. You're never going to be Emperor because you have a good 50% chance of being ineligible at any given moment. Instead, quest to break that shit and envelop all within your German/Austrian maw (depending on how strong Austria is in any given game).
