I have a ST and I'm happy that I got the extended warranty. The Ford/GM 10 speed transmission have a lot of issues. I had my transmission replaced already and I have read that a lot of people have also. 10R60 and 10R80 needs to be bulletproof for reliability and flashed to remove the skip gear pattern. Do your research before buying, especially a used one. A lot of people sell or trade them in after they have replaced the transmission 2-3 times.

The unpainted fender flair is quintessential ford-cheap-o. Ford knows how to style their cars, trucks and SUV's, but for some reason would prefer to offer a ridiculously priced and seldom selected 6k dollar painted roof, rather than a painted fender option. -probably has something to do with the Aviator/Lincoln relationship.

Going to RWD was smart. The turbo 6 cyl ST is about $60k. Good MPG. Prop rod hood pathetic. You buy the ST (w/6 cyl) for performance w/good reliable engine. ST interior and seats better than standard. Not a fan of all the exterior plastic cladding. Refresh desperately needed - looks better. Add aftermarket intercooler and tune and you’ll be flying.This 4 cyl is very peppy. Good review.
@NovaResource4 ай бұрын
Sorry about this comment but this always bothers me in your videos. That second row slides forward “mechanically” not “hydraulically”. Hydraulically would mean it uses hydraulic fluid to move the seats. My guess is those seats use springs to move it forward. As opposed to electric motors which would then mean the seats move forward “electrically”. Again, sorry about the nit picking. Love your videos.

The problem with manufacturers is that they pay you reviewers too much attention. Because of YOU lot, the sedan was killed. Because bigger wheels were wanted every time a new sedan came out. So bigger wheels were fitted and the ride became crap. So more and more people went for SUVs because they had higher profile tires and a more comfortable ride as a result. But then reviewers complained about the small wheels yet again and manufacturers obliged. Now SUVs have been ruined too. There literally isn't a comfortable car out there thanks to tires that are painted onto 22" wheels for "looks" and if you want a comfortable ride you need to be rich enough to buy a Rolls Royce with air suspension. Just get back to basics manufacturers and you will sell more types of cars that used to sell well before changes were made.
