Kia and Hyundai are gonna take over if they continue like this.

I don't know about Honda, but Toyota has stated that EVs are not quite ready for prime time. Judging by the pathetic range given here, I would agree.
@trstnhnАй бұрын
@@krane15 Your range anxiety is irrational. There are plenty of EVs that go 300+ miles now and fast charging gives you 80% in about 20 minutes.
@christophersneed5212Ай бұрын
Most Gas cars because of how people drive only get 300 miles. So the Range Anxiety is highly illogical.
@jeffs6090Ай бұрын
@christophersneed5212 And range anxiety isn't technically range anxiety. It's charging anxiety. People don't really trust the charging infrastructure, which is warranted. It is definitely getting better though. However, now that the industry in NA is switching over to NACS, that definitely helps with that charging anxiety since the Tesla SC network is everywhere. Concerning range specifically, battery technology gets better every year, and solid state is basically around the corner. Not long from now, EVs having over 400 miles of range (with weather not effecting it) will be commonplace. Toyota not diving in full steam now will put them way behind. They will absolutely need to be using other company's tech to make their cars.

I’m not sure if this makes any sense in my opinion. The whole point of a vehicle this size is to comfortably transport a sizable group of people efficiently. But a GT model sacrifices ride quality with those large wheels and skinny performance tires, range, and costing far more than the average model while still having compromised driving dynamics (large and heavy). I suppose there are people that would make the trade off, I just wonder how many people are there.
