Cool thing I found you can do if you want is go to Conditions > If "In Combat" - "False" > Then "Color" and you set the bar on the right (which is saturation) all the way down do the minimum, then your weakaura becomes invisible out of combat and pops out only during combat.

Awesome video! I used it on my holy paladin to give a glow under my cursor if holy shock was off cooldown. Sometimes I'd forget in raid since the raid frames are so far away from my other indicators xD Thank you!

Why won't the colors save? I wanted to make it green and in combat red, but for some reason every time I choose the color it resets it to the white default color... what am i doing wrong?

when you get the wa can you then remove the normal mouse hand from wow the normal one so its only a circle?

Unfortunately no, the hardware cursor (the hand) is always visible except times like if you're holding down both the left and right mouse button. At least, I never figured out a way to do it. I still find the circle useful since I use it to show in combat or out of combat state, but it could also be helpful for things like being in melee range or not instead.

Hm, that definitely doesn't sound right. Did you possibly choose an incorrect texture for your cursor marker? There are a lot with similar names so that's a possibility, though I can't imagine what else would cause that. I did include the link to the Wago page where the one I made is hosted if you can't get it working, though I imagine you might have a setting mis-clicked somewhere in the process. I'm still using the very same one I made in this video and haven't had any problems with it.

@@redzflip For sure, I'm always happy to answer though I'm still not sure what could be causing your problem. =/ It's possible it's another weakaura conflicting with it, but cursor WAs are pretty simple to make so I'd be surprised to see it getting in the way of other ones. I don't know if you tried the one I made and uploaded to Wago, but if you did and it's still doing the same thing then it might be another addon conflict. (Also, you're absolutely welcome, I try my best to answer stuff when I'm able to, though sometimes I miss stuff. ^^; )

Hiya Giannis, I'm glad the videos have been useful to you! The combo point tracker I use is called NugComboBar, I did a video about a year or two ago that explains how to set it up. It's a separate addon so you can't connect it to nameplates/targets unfortunately, but if you use an addon like KUINameplates then it will show the combo points on health bars if you want that feature too. ^^

man for some reason these weakauras lag behind my hand cursor. same as the green circle for targeted spells, why is that and how can you I fix it? it actually stays in place only when wow is in the background (when i have another window on top as i play in windowed mode), but as soon as i click on the wow window it starts lagging behind the cursor again

I wish Kg Panels used the folder button option for textures. I have fought with that add on for so many years. I can download TGA files and 1/2 of them will work and the other half wont work for any reason at all and I just get a green Box. It's very frustrating. But I'm going to try this out cause I'm always losing my mouse.

Hm, I'm not quite sure on that one, Alptuğ. I'll see if I can find an answer but I have never used mouse input as a conditional requirement and I'm not sure if that's something Weakauras supports, honestly.

Hm, it definitely should be working even in Prepatch as I still have mine that I made in the video and it shows up. I'm trying to think why it might not be visbile. There are only a few things that I can think of off the top of my head that would cause that- Typing in/choosing a texture that doesn't work right The Alpha % on the display tab might be at 0% which would make it invisible Or maybe you accidentally added a Load condition

@@Hiro.the.God. That's so weird, I'm still using the one from when I made this and never got any load errors, but I'm glad it's working for you now! ^^ It helps me out a lot too, especially having it change color for when I'm engaged it combat is a nice way to help me notice it.

I'm not certain on that, admittedly one of the main reasons I wanted to make a cursor circle was so I could keep track of it at all times, including when I'm holding down right click. There might be a way to do this via writing some LUA in Weakauras but I don't know how to do that sort of stuff at the moment.

It might be a bit because of my recording software in OBS, unless you move the mouse really fast across the screen it has very little latency. The position of the hand being at an angle from the circle also makes it look like it's off by a little too, I think? It's mainly for just having a visual on-screen that's more obvious than the hand, at least for me.

Yeah weakauras can be a bit of a time sink to learn the ins and outs of, thankfully a ton of people just upload their stuff to wago, which is what I try to do as well with my stuff. ^^ the addon you’re seeing with the circle of abilities is called Opie, I did a video on it back in BFA of you want more info on how it works but I highly recommend downloading it off curseforge, it’s easily one of my favorite add-ons ever
