Its so devastating because the reason she become human is because of all what happens to her she had a peice of the ocean (flesh) she was made of gem (bone) and then understoon and got some of the moon (soul) becoming human and suffering till she became god and fell alone. There's something that's just so tragic about Phos and all their "upgrades". Baby Phos wanted to fight but their body was weak. In Phos's first battle after getting new legs that were fast, they ran away. Their new arms could stretch and stretch but they couldn't save Antaraticite. When Phos got Lapis's head, they were more suspicious of Kongo but couldn't find anything out by themselves, they needed the lunarins to explain what Kongo was. Even after getting a new eye (which turned them into a pseudo-human), they still had wool pulled over their eyes
