"Barely on my mind" is said like you're dismissive of the person's importance in your life, as if they're insignificant or the experience wasn't important, but "All the fuckin time" turns that around on its head, because it's explaining that even though the minor thing that doesn't show much scarring i.e a snake bite, it still irritates you knowing that it affected you when you should've known better. Very very good use of double rhymes all throughout the song, which I wish a lot more music had. It just makes everything flow so nicely, and even if your lyrics may be as vapid as the next new pop song, it still carries a current well enough to make it catchy and addictive. One of the few times that I got a music video for an ad that turned out to be a good song, and not some meth head mumble rock. The lyricist carries this song well.
