Lumion should already have included people walking up and down stairs in its asset library. When we use people walking, the result is never realistic, because the posture of a walking person is different and their feet tend to go into the steps.

I suspect this is much harder than you think as it's really tied to the actual rigging of the characters, and most stairs are different sizes...
