My friends son passed from cancer. He was 5 or 6. It tore her to the ground. Had she not had another child to raise, I'm not sure she would of survived it. I just couldn't even imagine the pain 💔

This episode really got me. My husband Michael passed on 10/10/2017 from a type of bone and bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma. He went through a lot of the same things that their son did and chose to stop treatment and pass in hospice. I remember the absolute peace on his face when he passed away at home. What a beautiful couple. Great episode. And he surely is watching over them. May his memory be for a blessing.

This story kinda hit home for my family & I. When my husband was 11, he was on a class trip and broke his leg. Weeks went by and he was in serious pain. He was told it was 'growing pains'. Mind you this was 1974 back when doctors would smoke in their offices with the patients. They took him to the hospital this time and when the cast came off, the doctor said 'Go to Sloan-Kettering immediately' and his parents did. He had the same disease as Sean Patrick (the name of our nephew) and lost his leg Christmas Eve 1974. He lost part of his lung at 16 due to his osteosarcoma. He will be 58 years old this week and has been cancer-free since 1979. Most of the kids at Sloan-Kettering & CHOP in Philadelphia didn't make it. To this day, he participates in studies when asked. He knows he is lucky he survived and I played this for him. He cried.

My dear, I understand how you feel about your situation but I’m still going to tell you that this is not the end of time, because so many of us especially we the ladies. So many of us lie in bed and scroll through social media after a breakup. They want to see their ex, check in on what they're doing, and maybe even do a little spying. I was crying because it really hurts but I was still having this mindset that everything is going to work out for me. I told my mom the same thing, on her last night, she had lost her ability to talk and I told her that it was ok to leave, she doesn’t have to stay any more, that we will be OK. And she passed early the next morning. I asked her numerous times if she was afraid and she said nope, and was very confident.

My heart aches for this family as there's no other pain like the loss of a child. When my elderly mum passed I once visited her grave on a rainy day. For a moment I wanted to place the umbrella on her grave "to protect her from the rain". I snapped back to reality and just talked to her, thankful for everything her and dad had done for us 😢😢😢
