Gerry wanted fame and money. He was not honest from the start about his love life prior to the show. Poor Jerry did not have anyone since his wife died. Yeah, right!

Teresa probably decided to keep her job to feel protected, once she realized the effort was not 50/50. There are probably instances of day to day living that we are not aware of. IMHO this is how l mostly saw them from the get go : Gerry 🤩 and Teresa 😍. ( I am a bit younger than them. I cannot imagine how disgusted l would be with myself to find myself going through a divorce so quickly after maintaining a decades long marriage beforehand.) 🙄✌️❤️🦋🙏

If you wanted adventure, he should’ve chose Leslie. She really loved him. Maybe there’s a second chance for them we all make bad choices. I think he picked when he found out of her financial security and security over love.

Showmance and show marriage. Clearly they weren’t honest about important dealbreakers nor committed to working out any issues arising. Just because they chose each other on the show doesn’t mean they needed to rush into marriage. They should have continued dating and getting to know each other.

No I don't think that is the whole story. Unfortunately, as you said in your promo this should have been a prior discussion. That said, if we are quote, in love , why can't we work something out ??? As always, it's money. What I'm not sure.

No, it takes two to make a marriage work and three months they didn't do it. They never should of got married as fast as they did without being fully committed to working at it. They treated their marriage like a toilet ,let's just flush it.

No, it wasn't Theresa's wanting to keep working. Yes, she was out to win and very likely blind to the actual truth about Gerry. I was not her fan - she was obnoxious. But she found out about Gerry's lies and his MANY indiscretions between when his wife died and when he became the Golden Bachelor. He was a liar. She learned that after they had committed to the wedding. Neither one of them should have gone through with it.

Either one or both could have gracefully bowed out before the wedding, Imo. Although it might have come across in poor taste or having cold feet, it would certainly have been preferable to a divorce after just a few months.

During the show Teresa clearly states she would quit her job AND move away from family. One can only assume that as they continued getting to know each other she realized he was not worth giving up her career and family time. Spoiler Alert; most men aren’t :-)

If they both were honest, they would have dated after the show & waited to see how things were gonna work, then if it wasnt working; go their separate ways, no need for a divorce. What was the big rush to get married? Where was their maturity and wisdom? Did they both go on the show for the right reason? I wonder. But i do wish them both the best and hope they find what their looking for.

I think all the women wanted to WIN. She really bugged me when she snitched on Kathy when Kathy said she should Zip It. I agree with Kathy, you should keep your dating experience with Gerry to yourself, stop bragging.
