I was born and raised in Haiti and lost all my family during the 2010 Earthquake when I was 15 years old. I immigrated to the US through a missionary sponsorship and by 2013, moved with my boyfriend to Long Island (where he and his family reside) and by chance got a reading from Theresa at a farmer’s market with no cameras present…just Theresa and her mother Veronica and it was life changing. Oh what I wouldn't give to hear from my mom. I question myself everyday, for 22 years now, whether I made the right decision letting her go on her terms and not rushing her back to the hospital. It kills me not knowing if she was ok with that. There hasn't been a day in the last 22 years that I haven't cried questioning that decision.

Hope, I’m married to a Doctor and our daughter is a Nurse. I’ve heard both of them say this so many times. People are happiest when they die in a place they choose THEMSELVES. So many people would rather die at home, or in a familiar place. People fight for the right to do that at times- In light of everything I’ve heard -I believe that your Mom was happiest passing away where she was. She clearly wasn’t alone -and was so loved-that’s all any of us can hope for. What would Mom say to you today….if she was sitting next to you right now? Stop worrying? Stop being sad. I’m happy here-and I will see you one day in Heaven. Life is so short-make the most of the time you have-without regrets and tears. Finally, living with all the “what if’s” is not living. It’s giving yourself a hard time constantly, and it can only lead to those that adore you being unhappy.

Anyway you made the correct choice. Even if you didn’t, don’t you think your mom would want you to be happy? I’m sure she would want you to remember the good times. End of life care is tough and it’s easy to question the decisions you make after the fact. I recommend talking to somebody about this, it sounds like you are still having a hard time.

I lost my missionary friend in that earthquake! She was I believe the only one from my state of Indiana…remember when she told me she was going, and intended to live there the rest of her life. Sadly she had no idea her life would be cut short. Her husband was with her but in another room. He was spared but she slipped away fast as the building collapsed! Jeanne Acheson was her name if anyone wants to check it out! Devastation was horrible! God bless the victims!

It is my dream to meet Theresa. I have watched her shows from day one and I’ve always wanted to hear from my parents just one more time. My father was murdered when I was a teenager and my mother passed a few years ago from long term drug use and cancer. My Mum died of a brain tumor in 2015, it was benign but because of her age they wouldn't operate, the inflammation was so big that towards the end she didn't know who I was and called me "Mum". I didn't want to confuse her by correcting her, so I went with the flow and comforted her pretending to be my grandmother. The day she passed I was with her and painfully watched her taking those horrific last breaths, it took a long time for her to leave this world, I went to the hospital cafeteria and bought a coffee, while I was gone she passed. I feel terrible that I was not there at that moment. I have never spoken to a medium but sometimes I wonder if she forgives me for not being by her bed at that moment. Everyday I think about this!! 💔

Hi dear! Often our loved ones chose to cross over without us there. Many people with near death experiences have out of body experiences prior to seeing a light. In that state they often report on being able to hear thoughts. I think your mom chose to go without you there. Maybe she couldn't with you so close bc she loves you so much. I mean we have to let go of EVERYTHING when we pass, so people holding on can make it harder. What I know for sure though is that she wants you to be happy and not feel guilty. Just think; she loves you, she made the transition- she wants whats best for you.

So sorry for your loss..I was with my mom as she took her last breath...She passed away 1/28/22. She suffered alone for 3 long weeks I was not allowed to see her due to covid. As the end was near they allowed me to see her for the last time. She took my hand and didn't want to let it go.... She had difficulty breathing and struggled at the end ... It was so painful and felt so helpless. I ask her to please stay with me in spirit and watch over me and my girls.. The hardest and painful experience in my life is to see the beautiful soul who my mom was leave me holding tight my hand ..As if she was saying Goodbye to me for the last time.... Your mom and mine are in a better place of no pain and suffering...So please know and I believe she is ok and not upset with you . They are with us every day in spirit... I consumed myself with guilt as I got covid at work and passed it to mom . I didn't know I had covid till it was to late for her. My aunt told me don't do that about feeling guilt over her death as mom would be upset to know I feel that way ... I will feel this way for a long time..💔 😥 God bless you..🙏
