Loved it when Micah admitted he couldn't see during his whole career and used to squint his eye and basically rugby tackle defenders, and also the story of when Micah got tickets for that spanish senorita in the hospitality suite and it was probably just a bloke in the end.

Great podcast guys with amazing stories and funny moments from last season. Could we get some kind of petition for "PRESSURE IS FOR TYRES!" To be released online and maybe as a charity single for Xmas or released on Spotify. ⚽🚗 It would make a decent replacement for Three Lions. But it's such an iconic football song it's irreplaceable. ⚽🏴 I just want to know what your favourite memories or moments of Motty John Motson are I miss him so much he was my favourite football commentator with Mark Lawrenson my other favourite. ⚽ They were the dream team and worked perfectly together. ⚽ Mine is the last minute 3-3 equaliser from Gerrard for Liverpool against West Ham in the 2006 FA Cup Final to take it to extra time. ⚽

I think with how much pundits and ex footballers ride on the back of “Gazza stories” they should be paying him

Hi Gary Alan and Micah, I have a very serious question and would to know the answer as it's been baffling me for a while now. Micah once wouldn't name a player in one of his stories and in his words said 'If I tell you the player you will put two and two together'. So my question. Why is it OK and sometimes deemed funny to mention names like Mario Balotelli and Gaza when sharing some stories but hesitate so much when sharing other names.
@ShaWal-iq6he5 ай бұрын
I'd assume because they generally know that the person they mention by name would be fine with the story being mentioned. Also, for the most part, the story or the general vibe is already lunlix knowledge so they aren't hiding much by not saying the story. Let's be honest, they tell funny stories...nothing incriminating
@daviddrotos5615 ай бұрын
My best moment was watching all the pundits and media personal parroting what the nation were saying and thinking regarding the England team then when the players took offence they all back tracked and started to praise them for playing awful football because they wanted to keep their mates happy. The pundits and media almost earned some praise by the English fans but it was hilarious watching them all back track when big Kane started pointing the finger especially "Well I cant move more than 5 meters faster than 1 mile per hour but how dare those pundits call me out for doing nothing this tournament, take it back or am not your friend any more Linekar" "Ok Harry your the greatest non-moving striker I've ever seen, we need more players like you, will be like watching a practise session of opposition running around cones because thats how little you move but yea, your great sorry for calling you out on that". If you cant remain impartial then you shouldnt be working at the BBC and lets be honest, the favouritism towards their own mates is completely biased "I'd be happy for Frank the tank to manage England, hes ruined every team hes managed currently but hes my mate, so he'll be great" (and Frank is one of the legends of my club and sadly deserves to be no where near a top level job)

Hi All 3 legends of the game without a doubt. Why can't our home nations FAs come to an agreement regarding participating in the Olympics?? What a missed opportunity for players that probably will never have that amazing experience. It's an embarrassment.
