All these block games are Tetris as primary, but they have found ways to put other games on the same lcd. Sort of. A racer, a shoot em up, an arkanoid. That sort of thing. The Tetris “blocks” are controlled each as a single unit of the screen, though, so you effectively have an lcd that is literally 10 pixels wide by 20 high. Which is great for Tetris but reaaaaaally shit for anything else. They’re often available for 2-3 euros and have been for decades.

Most USB rechargable fans are able to run for 5-8 hours.. but only on the lowest setting. if you switch them just to level 2 or 3, they often only last for 2-4 hours. but they are really cool for the summer.. so if you want a fan, i would buy one specific for that task without a console build into it (you then can use it in bed on your nightstand or similiar).

That Orb TV is interesting -- it's tech is based on the Generation NEX and OneBus VT03 Famicom clone hardware from 2005 developed by the Chinese companies JungleTac and Hummer Technology. It is the same basic hardware as the NES, but uses a completely custom PPU with up to 16 colors per 16x16 tile instead of the original NES's 4 per tile. It should be completely backwards compatible with existing NES software, but it's interesting to see whomever made the Orb TV made at least some games to use the enhanced PPU. That makes the thing interesting. I'd love to see a teardown video of that, Elliot!

Concerning the XYC console. If you open the console and remove the four pegs they put in the diagonals, it controls better. If you usesome moldable compound to raise the middle peg about 1.5 mm, controls even better. Add a dpad with 3M double sided tape, you can do fighting games after button remapping. The first mod is mandatory and easy to do, and I am surprised you did not mention the fact that without it, it only registers every other diagonal press. I noticed it right away, and you should have as well.
