The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is easily the best one to date. It had a level of personality and charm that the Michael Bay movies just simply didn't have. The TMNT designs from the 1990 movie remain a classic even today. I didn't like the design from the Michael Bay movies whatsoever. Having said that, Michelangelo looks great. NECA never fails to impress when it comes to their TMNT figures. Thanks as always Spot!

NECA had the SDCC movie set with all 4 together.

One of the strings on the chuck came out and I had to use a needle noose model clue tip to put it back. Did it flawlessly though!

The European release has a metal wire instead of string. Don’t know if that’s a better solution though.

I wish NECA would go ahead and scale them down just once more to 4" figures. There are still a lot of collectors world building with that size. More companies are coming out with 4" as well like Spero Studios, Boss Fight Studios, and Acid Rain World and Hyia Toys just to name a few.

Donnie is my favourite. Leo is too strait-laced. Raph is too emotional. Mikey is too goofy. But together they are so cool and totally bad ass! My favourite team! Great set! Can't wait for The Shredder! Awesome review!

seems a 3rd version was out for international market, i got mine in mexico city, and the nunchakus ar elinked with a wire, covered in black plastic. Which is actually better for posing

The only cons with the wire is it easily gets broken. Mine's broken in just a few hours of playing lol but got it glued so its okay.

I got the other three turtles, Shredder and Splinter but was never able to get Michelangelo. Once the pandemic is behind us and I can afford to spend money on figures again, I'm gonna try to get Michelangelo. Hopefully the aftermarket will be kind to me. lol On a side note, great video as always Spot.

I thought he seemed kinda crooked. I guess he's just made like that. I just received mine today from Gamestop's website and I notice the nunchucks only seem to have one solid cord to them, instead of the multiple twisty cords seen here and in other videos.

i ordered mine from gamestop yet the boxes didnt have the "only @gamestop" on the bottom of the box and slo mikey's nunchucks were connected by a single piece of a plasticky material rather that the double string like in yours.also the bandanna has alot more black rather than that clean vibrant orange like yours.can you tell me how come?

Yes! The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies are still the best! The newer ones were ok not bad but they just didn't have the same feel and originality the first ones did, plus they looked awful.

I hate to be negative because this is a great figure, and I'm probably sounding too picky but the head sculpt doesn't feel as exact as the others I think the eyes and nose are slightly off

I got this figure with a 4 pack of Turtles but when it arrived it had a completely different head sculpt but only the Mikey but in the advertised picture it was this head sculpt anyone know why?

there such thing as fake and real action figures...mikeys eyes are looking left(fake) instead of looking straight(real)...also some mikeys have white teeth and no pink tongue showing(fake) where the pink tongue does show and the teeth aren't bright white (real)....another thing is the skin...some have a dark green color like diarrhea (fake) where the reals are grass green with some pink in it to look like muscles blood or bruised (real) something like that.... any way i found this out thru a video on youtube about it....i was shell shocked lol but its true
