They did 2. One came in the two pack with Ed and the other came in the white and red box :)

I’ve never liked that Ash head sculpt. I never thought it looked like Bruce Campbell so I use the grimacing head from the Ultimate Hero Ash on this figure with a custom on the Hero Ash. But with that being said the paint update really helps that head sculpt. The eyes add a lot of character and the new tones and paint make it actually look more like Campbell. Especially in the thumbnail.

I picked up one of these reissues last April with the impression that it was the same paint job we're all used to, but I was pleasantly surprised when I popped open the front of the box! Hoping they'll bring back some Army of Darkness figures with their current paint standards

Hi Spot! Total Bad Ash looking Figure! Evil Dead 2 (1987) Movie, was one of my Favorite Film back then. 😎😎😎👍👍

@7:00 That hand was the most physically painful thing I’ve ever had to remove and/or attach on a NECA figure! I ended up putting a towel between my fingers for protection and extra grip lmao it can be attached though if given enough force!

#5:15 ...have you tried heating the hand up with a hair-dryer? It should be much easier to fit 🤞

They really should have included the iconic chainsaw as a hand option for this reissue imo.

if you go to dollar tree, they sell these pieces of wooden doll house furniture that are a bit under scale but they work. and this figure is probably the only time side eye makes the figure look better. I just wish they improved the elbow joints so they could get a deeper bend like the ED1 ash.

I prefer the more muted skin tone as I think it matches the look of the film and is more screen accurate. However, I like the side-eyed one better. The 2016 face with the forward facing eyes makes him look a bit... simple minded.
