I'm not certain why that bottle came with him lol and I agree with you, the TV would have made a lot more sense. My theory for the top hat and cane, is that on the DVD covers for volumes 1 and 2 released by Shout Factory, BJ has a top hat and a cane. When I took the volume 2 case out the other day to watch it, I noticed it. I could be wrong, but that's the only reason I could think of as to why BST AXN did this. Fantastic review as always! I definitely would like to get this one for the collection.

They probably included the top hat and cane because that's what Shout factory had on their recent DVD covers. They had him displayed with the top hat, cane and "tails" aka dragon tales. He actually did dawn this outfit once or twice in the show, which made him look very dapper. 😊. As for the bottle......I have no freaking clue. I don't even remember seeing an episode with the bottle in it......???

I got this figure a while ago I also got the complete series box set from Shout Factory. I have to start watching it again but if I remember correctly the top hat and Kane were. Used in a few musical numbers he did with Lydia so that might be might be why they included them. But on the Shout Factory Beetlejuice the complete series on the cases an on the disc. For seasons 1 ,2 and 3 an season 4 part 1 it shows Beetlejuice with the top hat and cane. I have no clue when it comes to the bottle though.

I got this figure a while back, and unfortunately mine came with a loose leg that falls off all the time. Still, I like this one, here's hoping that the Lydia figure comes out soon.

Love it! The top hat, cane, and bottle accessories really do seem strange. Thought maybe it was a magician theme but I’m rusty on the animated series in general. Might have to pick one up for myself.

It's from the pilot episode of the cartoon where BJ and Lydia break out into a musical number, because BJ is tried in court for child neglect and town destruction. Though, I kinda wish, he came with tails that connected to his suit like in the scene, so that somebody would be able to make a stop motion film

Ofcourse, BST AXN figures always seem like they're gonna break ( never actually broke for me) and the paint is almost always at least a little imperfect or at worst sloppy and smudged, and they do feel a little cheap, but guess what? They ARE cheap, you're not paying that much for them, and most importantly, they have these obscure licenses. Like where else are you going to get an official animated Beetlejuice figure? Even a movie Beetlejuice figure is a rarity, if it even exists, let alone an animated one. And the cheap thing comes out kinda charming in a way, like those old vintage kenner figures, they really do feel like oldschool action figures, in a good way. And the bug-in-the-mouth pose completely sells this figure and takes it to the next level. If you're a Beetlejuice cartoon fan, this is as good as it gets, and it's not expensive.
