This Batman costume looks like the all-black one he wore after Knightfall. I'm not a fan of the look in the comic, but it looks good in toy form.

Hey Spot! Did you get really bad stress marks on the socket on Spawns shoulders as well? My arms were on the loose side so i pulled the arms off and noticed really bad stress marks on the socket thag the shoulders plug into. I ordered a replacement and same issue. Just wondering if i have extremely bad luck or its a common issue.

I feel that the Spawn cape could have been better sculpted. I appreciate the way the collar is flowing in one direction, but the cape itself has this very inconsistent "trash bag" crumpled look to it. Like it's been balled up and sitting inside a box for months. What could of made this a better buy, is if Todd would have considered in having Spawn's sides painted a dark red, to somewhat resemble the comic art it's paying homage to. I'm not a fan of his weapon either. It's a can opener. This is an okay set, but since I already own the throne Spawn and several Batmans using that body buck, including the Year 2 Batman, I can't muster up the will to spend another fifty dollars for a repackaging. If at least Spawn's sides were painted red, then maybe I'd dive for it. Great review as usual. ✌

Why does everyone seem to gloss over the fact that it is the Year 2 Batman body, or more widely available 3 Jokers Batman body, which later had upgrades to the chest to create the Hush Batman (and it’s multiple reuses since).
