Cool figure. Ordered one myself back in 2019 to add to my Halloween display. My niece saw it, loved it to no end, and actually asked for it for Christmas. Found it on E-Bay for a.reasonable price. Sans mask. But she loved it to no end, and even sent me a pic of her with the Voodoo Queen after she got it.

Gorgeously sinister looking figure, I enjoyed your review. I always thought that the mask was a shield, which I would prefer it to have been than a mask that covers all that wonderful sculpt.

That torso DOES rotate, it might just be stuck. You can try freezing the figure and trying to get it loose. I've done that with several McFarlane joints. I love this figure, it is amazing!

Mcfarlane definitely sacrificed articulation for detail, and as a collector, I think its actually a good call. It's hard to find another toy company put so much detail into their figures.

The Voodoo Queen figure is impressive and intimidating, especially with the inclusion of the Voodoo mask. Speaking of which, the mask is excessively large. It should've been a bit smaller instead. The figure gives off a Medusa vibe due to the black strands that resemble snakes. Perhaps, McFarlane Toys could've made the strands look like snakes, which would've made the figure look even better. Articulation is limited unfortunately. Speaking of which, it doesn't make sense to have swivel cuts on the upper torso and not have any articulation. The same is true for the upper thighs, which at least have some movement to them. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate it!

The more i look at your reviews of this line,the clearer it is:this is almost a return to 90,s style McFarlane stuff.3 decent points of articulation,2 sorta o.k. ,overall 5 p.o.a. , with tons of great sculpted details. Statues that you can re-pose 3 x,s a yr.,that are so finely done,you can spend forever just looking at them,studying it,and then discovering then other side of the thing is even cooler.Remember,McFarlane was the first ones out there givin us that dirty,filthy,greasy,bloody look on a brand new fig.All that black wash on almost everything.Sculpting stuff nobody dared to,and giving us paint detail like Todd did back then is what set them apart,and led the way for future indie toy companys to say..."They did it,so can we ! "

@@kingofsorrows5240 its the same Sculps for years from this guy. Yeah they look nice but evolve already bigger audience of collectors want articulation with the nice Sculps. I'm tired of McFarland stuff and not looking forward to a Batman figure wrapped in cape like he's spawn with just a head sticking out of the cape.

She simply doesn't fit with the rest of the collection. While the other figures look kinda overdone, this looks like a generic native from old adventure comics or movies. Another classic character like the bride, phantom of the opera, invisible man or hunchback would've been a better addition.
