He worked the Art of the Deal in dealing with the international leader in the Middle East and was nominated for 5 Nobel Peace Prize.
@Geniusignotus
@Geniusignotus 2 жыл бұрын
He was nominated only twice for the Nobel which is actually nothing to brag about; even Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin were nominated at least once In recent rallies, President Donald Trump has repeatedly conflated winning a Nobel Peace Prize with being nominated for one, and has wrongly faulted the media for ignoring his nomination after making former President Barack Obama’s nomination in 2009 “the biggest story I’ve ever seen” The media attention for Obama came after he won the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump has been nominated, but that’s not the “big thing” he makes it out to be. *There are 318 candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020 - 211 are individuals and 107 organizations* Any one of thousands of people can nominate someone for the prestigious award and two people have come forward saying they nominated Trump But on its website, the Nobel committee warns not to attach too much importance to a nomination “Any person or organization can be nominated by anyone eligible to nominate,” the committee states. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has no input into submissions, though it decides who actually wins the prize. “To simply be nominated is therefore not an endorsement or extended honour to imply affiliation with the Nobel Peace Prize or its related institutions,” the committee states Nominations for a Nobel Peace Prize can be made by any one of perhaps hundreds of thousands of eligible people, including, according to the Nobel website, “university rectors or chancellors, professors of political and social science, history, philosophy, law and theology; leaders of peace research institutes and institutes of foreign affairs; members of national assemblies, governments, and international courts of law; previous Nobel Peace Prize Laureates; board members of organizations and institutions that have received the Nobel Peace Prize; present and past members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee; and former advisers of the Norwegian Nobel Institute.”
@Geniusignotus
@Geniusignotus 2 жыл бұрын
Peace in the Middle East?? It seems you're solely focusing on the Abraham Accords (impressive as it was but amounted to little as it had largely dismissed Palestine from mediation talks) and not on the following: * the unsanctioned relocation of the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, violating UN law and threatening the international status of one of the most politically disputed cities in the world (as it's claimed by both Israel and Palestine) * the break with long-standing bipartisan U.S. policy that Israel should stop building additional illegal settlements in the West Bank as a precursor to negotiations with the Palestinians, with Trump saying that the Israelis "have to keep going" and "I don't think there should be a pause." * the unexpected U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, the unsanctioned killing of Qassem Soleimani, and the large number of threats made by Trump personally via Twitter (to the surprise of his own administration) to attack civilian-populated cities along the Persian Gulf and 52 select cultural heritage sites, all of which greatly raised tensions between the U.S. and Iran to its peak levels since the onset of the Iranian Revolution, further intensifying instability and backtracking peace in the Middle East by 10 years

Also, Trump didn't play a role in actually writing any of his books, including 'Art of the Deal' They were all the work of ghost-writers In fact, Tony Schwartz (the real author of Art of the Deal') even claimed that writing the book was his "greatest regret in life, without question"

As a teen in his late teens, how can you create wealth with a lot of naivety?
@w33z0r
@w33z0r 3 жыл бұрын
The best way in my view is, to learn media competence, to learn what news or advice is good or bad. For example the stock market(because its my field of competence): There are many many websites and stuff filled with news about the next great stocks, the stocks on this pages most of the time have either hat their biggest move already(thats why they end up on mainstream media) or they need to get pushed because theit natural growth is lacking. So your job now is, to maintain a neutral position within this enviorment of distractions and bad informations. You have to learn what is a good info and to filter out the rubbish inbetween. I think its the same with everything in life, if you want to become wealthy, dont follow others blind, develop a mindset that keeps you neutral about everything, i often say to myself im the Swizerland(because they are neutral), to remind myself not to be naive and follow the advice of others. Take Mr Trump for example, if you are naive you will hate him because media is hating him and he does mistakes while he was/is the president, if you are neutral and have media competence you could care less about the bad part of him and focus on what you could learn fom the good entrepreneur he is, so you stay in a neutral state of mind and watch the video above, now you will filter out the good stuff he says, no matter what worse things he ever said. You dont need to judge him, you just need good informations that paves your way to be wealthy. Read books to fill the filter in your brain, so you are able more and more to elaborate by yourself what is good for you and what not. Never follow others, just use them as motovation or inspiration but dont try to do exactly what they say or what they did to become wealthy, because your not them, you have other talents and another starting point. I hope its not to hard to understand what i try to explain. Filter out the bad things and learn to see the good things no matter what other people think about your source of information, add them to your set of skills and develop your own system to become rich. One of the best advice is, If you want to buy something, dont say: i cant afford that!, instead ASK yourself: how can i afford that? because thats a question, your brain will start to think and figure out what your skill set has to offer to earn more money to afford that. Hope i could help you a bit, have a nice day

From wikipedia "Schwartz called writing the book his "greatest regret in life, without question," and both he and the book's publisher, Howard Kaminsky, said that Trump had played no role in the actual writing of the book. Trump has personally given conflicting accounts on the question of authorship.[4][7] Schwartz later suggested that the work be "recategorized as fiction""
