Thermal cameras manufactured in the US cannot be exported without authorization from the Dept of Commerce. Exceptions include under 10fps and others. Yes, our system enables you to be ISO compliant, but the standards themselves are more about how you set it up. The devices have high enough specs to match those recommendations. With the right settings and notifications to the measured targets, it can comply with the ISO standards (angles, notification to take off glasses, pixel count, avoiding external heat sources etc).

I have questions about false alarm. Why u put far away hot cup with face..i think if u put near face it maybe camera will capture hot cup not face.

That was simulating a popular video on twitter where the person does that and some old generation devices had a false alarm, there are still solutions like that being sold today on the market. When you drink the hot coffee it won’t produce false alarm, of course I have tested it as well.

The algorithm has a large room to improve. Don't know it's the face detection or the fusion /calibration between video and thermal cameras.

Write to our staff at facebook.com/DahuatechnologyIndia 4.Of course, you can set it up as you wish 5.According to ISO an IEC recommnedations, the ambient temperature in the room ideally should be 20-24 deg C and humidity 10-50%, BUT since we use black body calibrator, I have tested the results in 20% and 60% humidity and when our competitors indeed had errors in measurement, the Dahua kit with Black Body calibrator remained the same results. This is why you need the Black Body, also according to the ISO standards.

Hola, bueno pues la detección para COVID 19 es con una prueba clínica, lo que hace esta cámara y todas las cámaras y termómetros infrarrojos es estimar le temperatura superficial de la piel, la cual se asume que es muy parecida a la interna. Y como uno de los síntomas es fiebre entonces en teoría puedes detectar a la gente que tiene ese síntoma más no asegurar que tiene la enfermedad COVID-19.

I dont think that the temperature is accurate. I'm not an expert but normally the most accurate temperature is in the tiar duct, mouth or ear in the video I see people with glasses...

Camera is using AI to recognize facial features. If there are no glasses it will measure temperature in canthus, corner of an eye, temperature there is very accurate. If there are glasses, camera will look for a vein on forehead and recalculate temperature based on this measurement. That is why it is so accurate.

You are right....AI enabled cameras, like Dahua- do not get fooled by a cup of coffee, they only measure the temperature of the face, unlike some old school/competitor's solutions that can get fale alerts beacuase of hot beverage...this is why I show on this clip that Dahua HBTM solution is a modern, smart device that will not get fooled that easily. So you can enjoy your coffee :)

This is the beauty of AI! The camera finds the suitable spot. ie.canthus, forehead blood vessels etc. Opposite to Dahua competitors, our camera does NOT just measure the average of the whole head, it selects the best spot for the measurement.
