I have been reading about, liquid thermal insulation coating. In your view, is it possible to replace traditional insulation methods such as rockwool in the gas and oil industry? Any information will be useful Thank you 🙏

Hi there, no, it is not possible to replace the entire insulation completely with the liquid one. There are several limitations each and every insulation material can have. In your case the liquid thermal insulation has certain temperature limitations, like they cannot be used for high temperature services as the Rockwool does. Another disadvantage with the liquid insulation is that it is very difficult to take them out once it has been cured after application, they become like stone once cured. The liquid insulations are best suited for immersion services than the atmospheric services. i hope the above helps your understanding in differentiating between the traditional insulations and the liquid insulations.
