I recommend visiting Santa Teresa Hot Springs in the department of Ahuachapan, it is something out of the ordinary! Termal water, nice, rooms to stay over night, good food and more just out side the city of Ahuachapan

The name is Thermal Paradise Villa and we paid around $150 per night for the house we stayed in, but I think it depends on how many people are staying. We found it on booking.com
